Has anyone else noticed through a Wings game that the shot total progression looks like this chart? It’s probably more noticeable because they can’t get pucks to the net consistently, but even during the game tonight versus the Kings, the shot count was at 10. I glance back a few minutes later and it’s back down to 9.
Did the NHL go through an in period shot re-review process? It’s seems to happen consistently each game.

Yeah I noticed this at a couple games I attended. The shot totals for both the wings and our opponent would occasionally go down. I think if a shot is reviewed and it is determined that a goalie stopped it but it wouldn’t have gone in if they didn’t touch it then it isn’t a shot on net.
wtf am I looking at? At least label your axes.
These sorts of things have always been reviewed for accuracy. A shot could have been going wide, but it was only able to be seen in replays.
