With Weaver's role as the Yankee's closer solidified it's time for our boy to get some new walkout music, something truly inspiring. I know they've been using "Dream Weaver" as a play on his name but c'mon. For an honest-to-goodness fireman coming into high leverage situations 70s soft rock is not gonna get it done. He needs something better.
My vote is for Burning Down the House by Talking Heads. There's a bit of drama as the intro builds and then it just opens up. I can easily imagine Yankee fans singing along in the late innings of an ALCS game or the WS. Also the lyrics are punchy and kind of appropriate for Weaver:
Watch out! You might get what you're after.
Cool Babies! Stranger but not a stranger.
I'M AN ORD. IN. ARY. GUY! BURNIN DOWN THE HOUSE!
Hold tight! Wait til the partys over.
Hold tight! We're in for nasty weather.
THERE HAS. GOT TO BE A WAY! BURNIN DOWN THE HOUSE!
Mariano had "Enter Sandman", Trevor Hoffman used "Hell's Bells" and Dennis Eckersley was "Bad to the Bone". So how bout it? What's a good choice for Luke Weaver?

I’ve been wanting Smoke on the Water for a closer since the 90s. Iconic guitar riffs always work.
Mr. Sandman by the Chordettes
I would absolutely lose my shit if they turned the lights off and started “bum dum dum dum bum dum dum dum…”
Dream Weaver, obviously.
