Stephen Curry Gets 4th Quarter Off, As Warriors Handle Memphis Grizzlies With Dominant Defense

The Golden State Warriors didn’t need a stellar performance from Stephen Curry to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies. Curry sat the entire 4th quarter, as the Grizzlies made the score seem closer than it actually was in a 123-118 Warriors win.

  1. I’m annoyed the warriors let grizzlies score so much. They need a higher point differential if they wanna compete for the tournament in the next round. Seems like a dumb mistake unless they don’t want to win the tourni

  2. Agree with Kolsky’s assessments of Wiggins and Kuminga. I didn’t watch religiously in the championship years, but everyone is saying that Wiggins is back and I don’t see a reliable defensive or offensive player in him, so I don’t get it. Especially given Wiggins’ age and his potential when he entered the league. By comparison, Kuminga is younger, had less participation, and was benched repeatedly by Kerr last year with no opportunity to learn from his mistakes. He’s playing better than Wiggins at the moment, for sure.
Nice to see Kolsky confirm my other point from earlier today about the perils of trading for a superstar.

  3. Kuminga is getting a lot of minutes now. Kolsky needs to stop being a JK stan and think clearly. Wiggins is a better player right now and makes a lot less mistakes. 5 fouls in 17 minutes is insanity. How could that be denied? Kolsky gets real spicy when somebody criticizes when JK is criticized. And would JK develop correctly on a terrible hornets team?

  4. This was definitely the refs.

It was obvious, they made sure to cover the spread.

Called fouls on everything in the last 2 minutes (NBA is a contact sport – ofcourse there'll be contact in every play) and not calling qny for the warriors.

  5. Yeah, play coming at 30 minutes tonight let’s lose a bunch of games
Hey, let’s bring klay back and have no defense
You are a player have to learn to play in the team that you’re on
Domingo wouldn’t go to another team that all of a sudden becomes something different he has to put with that teams philosophy
I like a lot, but let’s be real. He’s got major holes in his game right now.
This is all on him, and I tipped my hat to him for coming off the bench and making the most of it and not being a gripe about it
That’s the best thing he’s done

  6. Andrew Wiggins is 10 times the defender kuminga is
You don’t need to put two more defenders on the court when Wiggins is on the court
On the court, you better put some fucking defenders and big boys out there with him

  7. This Kuminga thing is getting annoying. When he’s good he’s good and when he’s not… he’s not. 4 years he still makes the same mistakes but thats ok because hes still a good player but what he is now is who he will always be.

  8. Definitely saw this happening seeing how last season ended, which was very much like the end of 2020-21season. Only the "experts" who ridiculously and perennially underrate Curry and Green get surprised. Curry doesn't need much to be a title contender unlike other superstars. He is the most dominant offensive player while being a good, sound individual defender and great team defender.

  9. Kuminga's barely 22 and will get better. The w's have a whole season to evaluate him. What's the rush to judge him? The. thing about Markannen is…he's still young and fits ws team needs more. than Kuminga. Plus they'll have to pay Kuminga next year. so, yeah…I'd like. to have Markannen for a little more than Kuminga will cost. But Ainge demanded too much.

  10. I agree with not making a trade but completely disagree with the 10 years of sucking hurting more than 1 championship would feel good….

Kolsky has to understand what one more championship does for Steph. EVERYTHING!!!!! We can argue with all the Lebron fans during those 10 years of sucking about who the greatest is.

That one championship changes conversations for the rest of forever
