  1. Having your rookie QB throw 40 times a game is really tough. Having him throw 40 passes behind a bad o-line and to a bad receiving corps is a disaster waiting to happen.

  2. I feel bad this guy got drafted here.  Pathetic what the organization is putting around him lmao.

  3. Live and die by your rookie QB, we wouldn’t be in that position without him but you also have to expect the negative plays. Anyone that wants to blame Maye for this loss in this sub needs to watch this game without him at QB (hint it’s a blowout).

  4. I’m honestly not disappointed. Maye looks like the real deal. We also got closer to getting Will Campbell or Tet McMillan

  5. My draft takes often suck, but I feel so vindicated being all in on Drake.

The talent, the personality, and mindset. We’re in good hands Patriots fans.

  6. I’m more sad about him getting an INT added on to his stat line than I am about the loss, I think lmao

  7. This kid is our future. I have a lot more respect for him than I do our coaching staff and “management”. It’s nice to see a player go out there with all of the heart while he’s surrounded by a lackluster team that gives no shits.

Maye has this, build around him and watch the magic unfold. Seriously though, build around him and give the kid a chance for success.

  8. This was his best game so far. He was almost perfect. The interception sucked but it wasn’t some egregiously awful decision.

Every week I’m more confident Maye is a franchise QB.

  9. Everyone getting on drake for these late game picks need to relax. I am far less worried about that than a lot of people on this sub. The game is played different down a TD with no timeouts left. If he was throwing picks throughout every game like Zach Wilson, I would be much more worried. He has a horrible OL and a below average WR room. The things he did today with our roster is something very few rookies can do.

  10. I don’t put either turnover on him. He got absolutely blasted by a rusher who should’ve easily been blocked and Douglas just decided to tune out on his route.

They are going to waste his potential with this god awful coaching staff and roster.

  11. Love Maye but we should probably stop calling plays where he airs it out in clutch game moments until he can do it during a normal phase of the game. 2 INTs, one in OT and the other when we’re down by 6 and can win the game. He was killing the 10-20 yard stuff all game.

  12. Not only was this his best game so far but:

    A. He bounced back after probably his worst game last week

    B. He really looked like a guy that was trying not to scramble. If he can develop to the point where he can balance this and his natural ability to run, he’s going to be special

  13. Excellent game. Strip sack not on him at all. The info was miscommunication looked like pop was supposed to sit based on the other routes. Unless they wanted Henry to also run the same route 5 yards away.

  14. WR is number one need. OT is still important but Maye NEEDS a guy to throw the ball to on the outside.

  15. I know WR and OL are an immediate need but if we don’t get another corner who can actually fucking cover people, we could put up 50 every game next season and still lose.

  16. We havent had 100 yard wr since christmas eve 2022. It aint Drake’s fault Vedarian Lowe was our best receiver today. Draft T-Mac

  17. Man if we traded up a little to get Worthy instead of Polk this could’ve been a hell of a season

  18. Turnovers are a killer but let’s let him get them out of his system this season so he can learn what he can and can’t do

  19. Might have gotten the best qb in the draft. I know daniels is getting all the media attention and rightfully so given his statistical and won/loss success, but Drake feels like the most poised for long term success. For the first time in a while, I’m hopeful.
