Made this list of rare-ish events that usually happen each MLB season. What other events should I add to the list?

  1. Who here remembers the Tampa Bay Devil Rays were the team you wanted for no hitters and perfect games? 2 consecutive seasons too. They had a legit offense to with Carlos Pena, Carl Crawford, Ben Zobrist, Longoaria; didn’t have any hof type bats but 1 to 9 were deep

  2. 3 errors in the same half inning – might be too rare for what you are doing here but the Yankees made it look pretty damn easy

  3. Pitcher hits a home run. (Technically still applies with universal DH because Ohtani, and only a small percentage of his home runs will be when he is actually a pitcher.

Reach first base on a strikeout.

  4. I think since we have a specific name for it, you can bring the 5 strikeout game for a batter down to 4 strikeouts. A golden sombrero is only 4 strikeouts in a single game.
