With a 49ers win, they would be .5 games behind us in the standings. The sad reality is that we’re really not a lock for the playoffs if our struggles continue past the eagles game, even with an easier schedule.

No one is a lock for the playoffs. Detroit has 2 teams in their own division within 2 games of them

Yeah I don’t think anyone is locked for the playoffs yet.. Vikings are 1-2 games back? Packers 1-2 games back. We are what 1-2 games back from eagles?
The Packers have a MUCH tougher schedule so I assume we just have to play our game. We played 2 really really tough teams on a super short week. I’m not tooo worried about us. It sucks but we’ll be fine as long as we play how we know we can against Dallas and the Tits.. close out this very important part of our season before the bye. Gotta win 2x at home.
I still think we will hold on to the 7th seed and make the playoffs and get philly in the first round.
Fortunately the Niners have a brutal schedule remaining..
What you are forgetting, my good comrade, is that we will be 13 and 4 hosting a playoff game after winning the division and laughing at the eagles for losing to the Steelers, Ravens and us. HTTC
I just wanted to say how satisfying it is to see Dallas and the Giants buried at the bottom of the NFC.
The only other team I’m worried about is the Eagles for the division. If we win the games we should win, we’ll be 12-5 and in the playoffs.
NFC West is going to eat itself

Maybe we can beat the Falcons with how they’ve been looking the past few weeks. First a loss to the Saints, and the Broncos are blowing them out right now.
I blame BSJ and Forbes Jr…scratch that, I blame Rivera.

In my first run (yesterday) of the playoff simulator I had us at 11-6 and we still missed. NFC is stacked this year.
The fact we are a seed at all is a win lol
San Fran lost. That with Atlanta we should still be good but we need to start winning some games.

The rest of this season will show Peters and company what they need to target in the off-season to get to the top. Plus there is a very good chance that the Eagle will keep there HC now and that is great for Washington cause he is a mess with a good team and good coordinators so they are always hanging in by a thread. Regardless of the outcome of this season, the future is bright we will be hitting our peak just as the Eagles start to be on the downside of their window and the Cowboys and Giants well are going to be starting rebuilds next season. Well, the Giants, anyways I have no idea what Jerry is going to do with 2 players eating almost 40% of their cap next season.
I predicted 7-8 wins this year. The rest is gravy
The Saints aren’t a gimme now if Taysom does what he did today.
SF and ATL both lost.
I did not expect it to be so close
I think we are fine. GB and Minny will cannabalize each other(along with having to play lions again). If we stay healthy I think getting 10-11 wins is very attainable. cowboys 2x, saints(who look like a better team but still beatable) and titans should get us there. Plus we still get another shot at Philly and the falcons(whoms defense is cheeks)
We only have to go .500 (3-3) the rest of the way and we’re in at 10-7.
I don’t understand how we’re under Arizona after we beat them and have a better conference record.
