  1. Watson was good in the first, Straw in the third, and thats about it. Braun was solid but had no defesive assignment to pick on, since their rotation is a whirlwind.

at some point P Jay Haullf has to play ove those guys

  2. lol Malone in the post game presser saying Murray was getting fouled too much tonight without calls and that’s why he didn’t perform well 🙄

  3. I really thought that pelicans game would be a wake up call. A win might be a big ask, but at least make it competitive

  4. I mean I won’t fire off into the sun about this and that (like Malone not mentioning Murray 6 turnovers), but we looked better with Russ as PG and Murray off ball. With Edey out Tuesday (I’m sure of it) we need to attack the rim

  5. With most top teams if the Star is out you got at least a #2 to try and keep things afloat. Jamal can’t do that at all. Love the guy but that Utah series, playoff run and Jokic got him paid big time. Dude is getting paid and he can barely average 20 which guys do in their sleep these days

  6. Our reality is that our only chance at winning is through Jokic ball. We are nothing without him.

  7. Atleast we win when jokic plays unlike sixers and bucks that are still losing when their best players r playing

  8. Jamal is truly shameful like actually disgraceful there is no defending or rationalizing. This is my favorite athlete ever and always will be but this unacceptable. Team let alone Jok deserves better

  9. Like I said earlier, when Nugs and Broncs play on the same day, only one can win while the other, by definition, has to lose

  10. I just refuse to believe that Murray is truly this bad. It’s not just the effort but it’s like he has completely lost any athleticism and stamina. At this point we have to keep giving him reps until he hopefully plays himself out of it. If he stays healthy to the end of the year and are still below 22-25 points a game by january, then it is time to hit the panic button.

  11. Peyton Watson, Dario Saric, Russel Westbrook, and Julian Strawther all had better FG% and 3P% than Jamal. Has any player ever been this washed immediately after signing a max contract before? JFC, I’m so mad at Booth for that trash decision. You cannot convince me he’s worth even half that contract, even if we call it a “tip” for winning the finals two years ago, half is the absolute most. If he refused $100mil and walked we could’ve absolutely, easily gotten guys who can at least show up and more depth and been a better team for it

  12. Jamal is the closest you can get to a cheating spouse. The first few years he was the player we always dreamed of having, but once we got a ring he took us to the cleaners.

  13. Well the only positive point about this game is shows how valuable Jokic is to this organisation.

If that’s not what “most valuable” then idk what is atp

  14. Terrible game all around. I guess the rebounds were better than last game. Honestly I am baffled by how much we suck at rebounding without Jokic. Also can we get a for real answer on what’s up with Jamal more than just doomers. Pissed he went to NYC and flew in on game day like come on man. He attitude really seems like he doesn’t give a shit.
Tbh rn Julian > Murray. Bench Murray and tell him to get over himself at least for a game or two. Could be good if he is still injured or just terribly out of shape again.
Overall pleased with what I see from the young guys

  15. Imagine you are the boss of a company and your best employee goes on a well deserved vacation, when the business is running great and he comes back after one week and the whole work has gone to shit and you expect him to fix it because you as the boss and the rest of the staff members are incapable of doing any work without that employee… I would be embarrassed to my core if i was the boss or one of the coworkers, especially knowing this happens everytime he is on vacation/sick or even during his lunch breaks…

  16. I stopped watching when it was clear we have no chance without Jokic but how does our 52 million and 36 million second and third option go combined 10-27 shooting 0-4 on 3’s and 1-6 uuhh… We really overpaid our second and third option when we didn;t have to.

Imagine Jokic having an actual current all star level player next to him …a thing we shall never see

  17. When I see this team, I want the goal being the Tim Duncan Spurs. Greatness teamwork over multiple seasons. Regardless of players that come and go, there was a cohesion. THIS team is lacking that level of teamwork when Jokic is off the floor. We obviously can point fingers at Murray and Malone and Booth, but I do see the potential in our players but we need some actual effort and some cohesion in non-Jokic minutes by the all star break. We have all seen the flashes. They can do it… but we need to see it by the all-star break or we cooked/change is needed. If not, Jokic is going to run out of gas saving our buts EVERY DAMN GAME.

  18. Booth is a joke of a GM at this point. This isn’t even like a decent team any more so much as it’s Jokic + maybe 1 or 2 above-average dudes on any given night and then a whole bunch of below average has-beens and never-will-be’s.

Literally just pair Jokic with just average dudes and they win the NBA championship.
But pair with him 1-2 *maybe*-above-average dudes and then like all **very**-below-average dudes and you get this team.

Shocking how close the Nuggets are to sitting on the brink of being the worst team in NBA without him. That’s all you need to know about how they are doing in this Tim Connelly-shrinking, Calvin Booth era.

  19. How did the Nuggets fuck up so badly paying Murray and MPJ and not getting Joker an actual all-star caliber teammate. Joker should be getting 50% of both their contracts. Holy shit they’re bad.

  20. Maybe it’s just me but our offense especially the quality of our shots take a massive nosedive whenever the ball is in Murray’s hand and jokic not on the floor. And i say this objectively despite being a massive murray shitter in this sub

  21. I’m officially out on Jamal. Defended him like crazy during the chip season. Defended him tirelessly last season. Couldn’t defend him during the playoffs, had nothing during the Olympics, exhausted trying to argue he’s even a top 12 PG right now. I can’t. I’m not sure he’s it anymore. The injuries may have robbed him but still, I can’t defend this dude anymore.

  22. Guys… we’re 12 games into the season. No, Murray is not playing well, but he’s still averaging 18 points per game. Is that enough for a max? No. Is that enough to win when our best player is out? No. But we have literally 70 games left to figure it out before the playoffs. This sub needs to take a collective deep breath.

  23. The year is 2028. The nuggets have been bounced out of the playoffs every year, while Jamal Murray averages 14/5 on 41% shooting. The apologists are still at it, excusing his poor play on doomers and injuries while blaming random bench players and clamoring for better depth without realizing that Murray’s albatross contract is the reason we can’t afford any depth.

  24. I’m going to make a bold statement: I don’t think the Denver Nuggets can win a title without Nikola Jokic.

  25. Is it time to panic? No. Is it time to be concerned? No. Is it time to stop watching games because you’re a bunch of childish, reactive bitches? Yes.

  26. Are there any Nuggets fans that would be angry at Jokic if he requested a trade ? This is starting to look like Lebron during his first Cleveland era.

  27. I just want to express my continued disappointment towards Jamal. Knowing what he is capable of, it is such a let down seeing his performance this season, and I’m not sure we’re gonna see him play like he used to anytime soon. For the betterment of the team, a trade would be ideal. His shooting has significantly worsened and he lacks the playmaking required. I understand his knee injury impacts his ability to play and jump but why burden your whole team and the best players legacy for a max contract? So incredibly selfish for a player who is surrounded by some of the most unselfish players in the NBA, you’d hope it would rub off on him. I’m in no way trying to hate for the sake of hating, I’m concerned because I love Jamal Murray, as most of you do too. But as that saying about writing goes, “you need to kill your darlings, sometimes you need to destroy what you like to get what you love”.

  28. Jamal should be fucking embarrassed. He has been straight trash this season. Have some fucking heart man
