With another dominant ACC win on its resume, SMU has moved back up to No. 13 in the latest AP Top 25 poll.
The Mustangs found themselves at No. 14 entering this week’s matchup with Boston College, sliding one spot during their bye week. Kevin Jennings and Brashard Smith helped SMU keep the momentum flowing against Boston College, powering their team to a 38-28 win Saturday.
SMU is the only ACC frontrunner to avoid an upset so far this season.
Meanwhile, Texas held on to its position at No. 3. The Longhorns kept their strong season rolling, pulling away with a Which leaves us with what to make of first-place Texas after a too-close-for-comfort 20-10 win over Arkansas on Saturday.
