You know, Drake Maye is good enough, Caucasian enough, and Goff enough that honestly I feel like him and Ben Johnson would really click. We definitely got the best OC option for Jayden Daniels’ playstyle.
I have probably 50+ more reminders that I’ll get in my inbox between now and the draft but I promise I won’t post/spam them 🤣 this is the first one I got and it gave me a good laugh with the “looking forward to it” so I had to share

I’m really glad that Peter’s was smart enough to stack a bunch of picks in this latest draft. We have crushed it, but it seems a ton of teams are very happy with their picks. It wouldn’t surprise me if in 5 years we look back with this class as one of the top classes there’s been
I won’t forget that 90% of this sub just assumed Maye was the pick in January. You’d see comments like “Too bad we don’t get Caleb Williams but atleast we get Maye!”
I don’t blame people wanting Maye, but everyone underestimated JD5s work rthic IMO. Dude doesn’t know anything other than football

Never been so happy to be wrong. Im not ashamed. Still think this is more of a “remind me” 10 years kinda thing. Post history says I was a Maye guy, and I still think he’s gonna be a stud. But I’m happy with JD.
Cooley said he was better than Caleb pre-draft (even though his film study was half-assed) and that was enough for me.
