  1. I I know everybody is impressed with Ben Johnson's call abilities but Ben Johnson really really really really enjoys being an offensive coordinator and if he's on a team he knows it's going to the super bowl and not just once but this team has a chance to do something special Don't expect to see him anytime soon on someone else's sidelines cuz he's paid well and depending upon how far we go this year he'll be paid even better next year so you can look but I don't think you're going to touch him.

  2. Every team is going to try to build like Detroit. It don’t matter. Ben Johnson is a scheme guy, not a proven leader of men. He relies on our general managers ability to identify talent and character, and Dan Campbell a leadership. Can’t just assume he will change your team or that he wants you.

  3. Oh man you guys are tripping out if you look at the big picture we are getting a new stadium in the next two years we will be in limbo and playing who knows where? The nfl is all about money! We will not be good for the next two years. Get use to being bad until we get our new stadium! As soon as we get it we will be good! It’s just like that! Then all of a sudden we we be good I didn’t say Super Bowl but we will be good.

  4. We were you guys five years ago. We were that way for decades. Takes new ownership and administration. Keep your chin up and hope the powers that be can see the light.

  5. I agree. The locker room has good guys and I don't feel they have given up. If you can get Ben J and a Lion Head office guy that knows Ben. I'm a lion fan and hate to see it, but I can see it. Ban saw a culture reset at Detroit ant what you need.

  6. Detroit got good. When they embraced Detroit as a pattern. Not New England ecetra. Getting Spielman for guidance. Contacting Barry and bringing Megatron back on good terms was critical. I thought William Clay Ford was awful. But hi daughter? May be the best owner in the league. Be Jacksonville.

  7. Lions coach has been there how long? He's getting it done. Harbaugh, year one…winning. Get a coach head hunter. Boselli & Brunell. Brunell is doing a heck of a job in Detroit. Boselli could be a Dan Cambel type. I dunno, we need competence top to bottom. Like you said, this is a good job. No excuse for this product fans are paying for. None.

  8. Bro I just came across your broadcast. And you are speaking the real truth about Ben Johnson. But may I include Aaron Glenn?

As long as either one of the Lions coaches comes to Jacksonville, and bring Lions assist GM, Ray Agnew (Former NFL Player) with them as GM with full control, y'all will have something with QB Lawrence and a few draft picks.

I hate to say I am a Lions fan and I have spent 40 years of misery & frustration, but here I am, saying: I feel your pain.

  9. Not only did we leave no doubt that we are better the Jacksonville, we left no doubt we are by far better than every team in the league including the chiefs. We will dog walk anybody.

  10. Don't feel too bad. Yes, the jags are a troubled team right now. But the Lions have handed out several butt whoopings this season.

As far as Ben Johnson, there are insiders who say he may not become a head coach any time soon. He really likes where he's at and his family likes it as well. He is really happy right now.

  11. Another Lions fan here. We want Ben Johnson here for a long time, but realistically we’ve already had him longer than we should have.

I think he would be a great fit for you guys. Trevor Lawrence will turn 26 during 2025–that’s right around the same age Goff was when we traded Stafford for him.

I totally agree with your take that Baalke needs to go too. If you guys can find a GM with the same vision as Johnson, you will be cooking within about two years.

If you guys hire Johnson, draft someone like Banks outta Texas (Johnson is probably going to want to construct his own O-line) and give him some time, he will have your team humming by the middle of 2026.

  12. Ben Johnson will not be the same in Jax. He is a part of a well oiled machine and is not the guy. We need a culture shock and a leader of men. Just my opinion

  13. I think that Ben John 100% taking that job and he will bring a bunch of coaches from our staff. One thing you should know he couches hard he comes from Dan Campbell Tree if you ain’t built like that please exit stage to the left. You want to win your division? And make deep into the playoffs and possibly win the Super Bowl he is your guy I watch him every week for years now because I am a lions fan

  14. Unfortunately for your fan base, your coach and GM will be able to point to Trevor Lawrence not playing and other injuries as an excuse for them getting blown out. Your owner sounds a lot like the former owner of the Lions, William Clay Ford. He was always described as a great owner to work with and he was, at times, loyal to a fault. He'd hang on to coaches and GMs way longer than other owners. So it wouldn't surprise me if your coach and GM make it to the end of the season before being fired. Would it really matter if they were fired now? Their coordinators wouldn't do much differently and no new players are coming in midseason. It'd be like firing the captain of the Titanic after hitting the iceberg. The ship's going down either way.

Another excuse could just be they just played against one of, if not the best team in the NFL this year. Detroit has blown out teams that are on par with the Jags like the Cowboys(3-6) and Titans(2-8) and makes even decent teams look worse than usual. So how was this result NOT expected? I'd be more embarrassed as a Jags fan if a team like the Titans hung 52 points on them. If that happened, firing the coach before he makes it back to the locker room would be waiting too long to do it. 🤣🤣

  15. I feel for you guys. I watched 50 years of what you guys are going through. Games where you were only watching certain players and not the team. Keep the faith there will be much better days eventually. A good coach and front office can change your situation very quickly. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ben takes your coaching job. Good luck to you and go Lions!

  16. We need to copy the lions with how they found the GM and coach with a agency that finds the right people. Lions also fired their coach around 5 games left to get a head start. I think Rick Spielman helped out. But Shad wont do that because he and his son think they know football.

  17. I’ve always said I’ve I’m gonna lose. I want to get my guts stomped out and my head beat in. And today we got folded like a piece of paper and put in goffs back pocket. They handled their business like real men and didn’t feel bad for us. Lions are excellent and I’m going to root for them to win the super bowl
