  1. Best case scenario for Chicago, honestly.

This is definitely not the year for them. But they found out that Waldron really was the problem with Caleb… Green Bay had two weeks to get ready for this and they needed a lot of luck to win.

Winning this game might have led to Eberflus keeping his job… That's not good for the Bears future.

  2. Since 2000, the Bears and Packers have played against each other a total of 51 times (including playoffs). The Packers record is 39-12 against the Bears. The Packers could potentially win as many games in a row against the Bears, as the Bears have won this millennium against the Packers. Looking forward to Week 18!

  3. It’s the difference in a winning culture and a team still searching for one. The one thing I’ll take away is that CW didn’t look too small for the moment. That’s the best QB against GB we have had since the Cutler years and even that was minimum. Hopefully he grows from it. But winning teams find ways to win. We aren’t there yet.

  4. What makes it even more disturbing is that just last week, the Denver Broncos thought they had a game winning field goal at the very end and IT was blocked! So it should’ve been fresh in their minds that it wasn’t a sure thing. They should get as close as possible so the kicker can kick it high and not on a low trajectory which makes it easier to block. Feel bad for the Bears. I do. Because as a Vikings fan, I’ve lived it.

  5. Packer fan here
Sick to my stomach to see that the Bears have a far superior team in every possible way.
And next year,….with a real coach on the Bears sidelines,….the Packers will begin their slide into obscurity with Brian “Ted Thompson Just as Useless 2.0” Gutekunst still running the show.

  6. Well….atleast Bear fan feels bad, cause I got to tell you as a Packers fan I was disgusted with ML and the GBP——we are not smart! So thank you Bear fan……I guess you feel worse than I do! The Packers made a NOT good NFL QB look half way decent, that’s inexcusable.

  7. I don't think the possible extra 2-3 yards was worth the risk of interception, sack, fumble, tackle for loss, false start penalty, etc etc etc.

  8. If the Bears had been 10 yards closer that FG would have been good even with the deflection. They could have easily run one and maybe even two more plays before attempting the FG.

  9. Everyone overreacting. It was more important for the offense and Caleb to play well than to get a win. Bears aren’t a playoff team this year. They just need to improve game by game. And they did that yesterday.
