Brooklyn Nets swept in MSG by Knicks, waste Cam Thomas 43-point game

The Brooklyn Nets played two games Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks over the weekend, losing a very close game at the buzzer on Friday night. They took it down to the wire with Cam Thomas scoring 43 points in the loss. It was a bummer especially considering Mikal Bridges was a big part of the Knicks taking the win. Then they lost on Sunday in a game that wasn’t as close. The Locked on Nets guy look at both games.

  12. I hate that it was the Knicks I wanted those wins but I can’t act like I don’t want our draft stock to raise ! Have yall seen Egor ? I would put him top 4 my goodness he’s 6’9 ! I wouldn’t mind him at 3 over Dyan ! This draft is going to be loaded ! We have 4 picks just let Sean cook we have a great coach in 2028 we are going to look different

  13. I kinda like keeping cam johnson to be honest. Maybe we see what value we can grab for schroder at the deadline knowing he is a free agent and if its not a first then just keep him for the future knowing we need a PG to orchestrate Jordi's offense.

    Claxton can't bang bodies and would have gotten crushed by KAT on the boards. We desperately need sharpe in there alongside schroder to run pick and rolls. He can shoot from the foul line and bring defenders out to keep them honest instead of simmons who is a joke now

  15. There is absolutely nothing more important to the Nets future than making sure they a top five preferable top three pick in this draft.

    In my scouring of the nba rosters the team one for one that is not looking to potential Tank and may need to make moves to get better to actually compete is Atlanta.

    Atlanta has TWO large expiring contracts that could be swapped for Cam Johnson and either Dennis or DFS in a package for Clint Capella and Larry Nance Jr. The Hawks also have draft picks they can send out as well.
