Jordan Love was 8-of-8 for 185 yards when under pressure against the Bears on Sunday. He was 2-of-3 for 68 yards against the blitz and 6-of-6 for 182 yards and a touchdown on passes at least 10 yards downfield, including 2-of-2 on throws of 20-plus yards.

  1. But people will cry about that one pick. Probably 100 different people in the game thread saying they’re sick of him and paying him was a mistake and Willis is better.

  2. Anyone who thinks Love is the problem wasn’t watching very closely lol dude had like 7 total drives because the defense couldn’t get off the field

  3. While the INT was bad, he played really well yesterday. High comp % and made big plays all game despite only having 6 offensive posessions. While the offense sputtered a couple of times in the RZ, the defense was a much bigger issue yesterday.

  4. He also threw into a double coverage Watson when I think we had Kraft wide open for 30 yards. Yes it worked out but no that wasn’t a good decision.

And his last throw to Watson, Watson had to dive and stretch out for the ball to barely catch it. Love could have easily hit him in stride.

Love played well but he was far from mistake free.

  5. but yet walked out with zero points on two possesions in the red zone. He’s still PART of the PROBLEM. Best decison he made yesterday was the run to the 1 yard line.

  6. Love was good yesterday. The pick was a terrible throw, but it was the only bad throw he had on the day. The other incompletions were a drop, and two throw aways.

  7. Okay why do I remember him looking shaky? The web I spun in my mind was that he looked bad yesterday and everything I’m seeing today makes me think I was very wrong.

  8. I think people are just gonna have to get used to him slinging it and getting some INTs. He’s not Aaron Rodgers. Some teams come out of the BYE looking like shit after a break and really only our defense did. They just gotta clean up and keep going.

  9. Bears sub posted a “Caleb out performed Love” post yesterday and I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut.

All of Love’s stats were better (except rushing yards, but a rushing TD is better than yards), and he got the W.

  10. LMAO, the entire game thread was full of people saying Love is washed, Love doesn’t have it, we need to replace him, lmao….

Seriously, this sub needs a bath.

  11. His int yesterday wasnt even the the turn into Will Levis variety hes had a bunch this year. He just sailed a pass over Krafts head a bit. The only bad throw he made all game.

We just had 6 real possessions because the Bears dominated time of possession.

  12. We (almost) lost this game because of coaching, not because of Love. Love played well against a good defense.

  13. Other than the overthrow to Kraft that led to the pick h played a pretty flawless game. The defense on the other hand did everything they could to choke it away. Damn we need some new corners

  14. Packers need to run easier, faster decision plays. Reed/wicks on shallow crossers. We make it boom or busy far too often

  15. The INT was bad, but the other big mistake was two plays before the INT. he needs to throw that ball quicker on an RPO, we got a 5 yard penalty turning the 3rd and 1 into a 2nd and 6.

Otherwise, I think he looked pretty good. The pass down field into double coverage was wild. I can’t believe he keeps getting away with those but I love to see it!

  16. I’m very satisfied watching Love this season

I know people are complaining about the picks but I’ve had to watch Carson Beck play football all season long, so one pick doesn’t phase me as much

  17. The Jordan Love experience was on all mass yesterday. Dumb int and just dimes of throws. That one to Watson guarded by two ppl he had Kraft wide open lmao yolo

  18. The pick looked like he second guessed himself last minute. Almost looked like he wanted to try back of the end zone but his brain last second said “check down”

  19. And to think he still didn’t look like he was playing his best. These are all great stats. That interception was still dumb though lol. Without that, we probably would have run away with the game

  20. I guess this could be said for a lot of QBs, but it’s best if the opposing defense can get pressure with four and drop the rest. Jordan is good to great in identifying the blitz and making a pre-snap protection adjustment. Sometimes he doesn’t even need to get it out to the hot route right away because he still has enough time to let his receivers get open.

  21. By all accounts he had a good game. Even his risky ass throw downfield to Watson was kind of a good decision given the placement of the defenders, despite Kraft being more open for less yards. The only thing was the overthrow int. Gotta, gotta, gotta start weeding those out.

  22. I know the INT is frustrating, but it was just a bad throw that went the other way. Other than that, Jordan had a great game.

  23. He had an excellent game with one bad throw. Feeling really good about his performance in the second half of the season

  24. But yet everyone wants to shit on J Love for the ints. Yeah they’re not great, but they fail to look at his actual performance

  25. My only real complaint about Loves play yesterday was on his second or third throw to Watson (the one into double coverage) he had a wide open player (I think it was Kraft) for like a thirty plus yard gain with room to run. And he wasn’t across the field he was right in front of him. He didn’t take the easy throw for a huge gain, and instead risked a lot on an extremely risky but larger gain. That was a stupid decision that could have easily not been caught or turned into interception number two.

It worked so we all overlooked it. But the decision making worries me sometimes. It reminds me of the worst Rodgers/Favre heroball excesses.
