This call was total BS

Tim Stutzle and the Ottawa Senators had a goal disallowed against the Carolina Hurricanes because of one of the sooooftest calls I have seen all year on a bogus interference call. That and more in today’s NHL hockey video!

  1. As a Canes fan watching any other team have trouble with the refs against us, I don't care. The refs hate us and this is usually our treatment, nice to be on the other side of shit calls for once.

  2. I think the refs are competing to , to ref in the playoffs. I know the Sens are not going to make the playoffs, but I think those refs may have earned an early exit to reffing in the playoffs to.

  3. As a Canes fan, it was a terrible call. The refs this year have been… something. Like I guess technically it could've been interference, but it's such a soft call. He was clearly winding up for a shot, there may have been a little extra movement to try and work around Svech's stick. There's no world where that should've been called though.

It worked out in my teams favor, but a lot of the calls in that game were awful. I'd rather the integrity of the sport be upheld rather than one night of bad calls that benefits the team I root for.

  4. Fucking CHARMIN soft call.
I would understand if Stutzle came down on the stick with a slash, but he’s literally placing the tape down for the pass from across, WHILE BEING FUCKED WITH by Svech from behind. Maybe Svechnikov needs to retape his KNOB.

  5. As a Canes fan, we're used to seeing bad officiating every game, because Svechnikov is a Hurricane. He gets called for a penalty every game, most of them now are for just looking at someone the wrong way. So yeah, the Sens had a bad call go against them, but after what I've witnessed for a few years against the Canes, I'm not gonna get too upset.

  6. Honestly, it looks like Svechnikov dropped/threw his stick away. It looks like he was intentionally trying to get the call. Almost as blatant as some of the yellow cards I've seen.

  7. I don't know if you watched the Wild/Habs game last Thursday, but that had to be the worst officiated game I've seen all year. So, SO many missed calls and a bunch of soft calls. I've been to three Wild games this year and I have felt that the officiating this year is actually somehow worse than last year

  8. This stick slashing without breaking the stick should not be a penalty. It’s getting out of control. I’ve seen too many plays already this season were players will intentionally drop their stick when someone whacks it and is called a penalty. Any player that slashes the stick then breaks or on the hand should be a penalty.

  9. Canes and devils have picked up soccer skills this summer it seems like. They get so many bs calls their way. Gotta imagine those calls end up evening out over the season.

  10. It's less about Svech's grip on the stick and more about the swiping motion that Stutzle's makes while Pinto's pass is transferring over. The puck is still in the motion of going over to Tim as he swipes away Svech. Extremely subtle by Stutzle to evade back pressure, tbh a good call by officiating. (I'm not a fan of either team, 0 dog in this race).
