The truth about the criticism is that the nfl media really doesn’t like “game managers” at quarterback. I have a feeling it stems from the same type of jealousy that Steph curry got a while back where it makes guys who couldn’t just make the simple play/decision or didn’t have the talent to help that to a certain degree upset because they feel like they’ve been cheated while hurts is succeeding

Jalen is a victim of narratives. Once a narrative is created and repeated, it is almost impossible for it to be unseen or heard. For example, there's a narrative that Jalen isn't a good QB. There's a narrative that Joe Burrow is a top 5 QB. Joe and Jalen have similar career accomplishments, except Jalen has more wins. Yet, people praise Joe, but question if Jalen (WHO IS CONTINUING TO WIN) can even be a NFL QB.
I think they learned their lesson letting good players walk out the door. Howie won't be able to show his face around here if he lets another good LB walk.

Evan, great commentary as usual. However, I dont disagree totally with Fitz….I challenge you to really look at Jalen and his inability to be a good passer inside the 10 yard line. The Eagles offense rarely comes up with good passing play calls when we get close to the goal line. It is as if the coaches dont trust Jalen throwing the ball down there.
