Baylor Scheierman doesn’t see Maine Celtics as a demotion: “I really enjoy being up here”

He may not have had the prettiest summer league and preseason, but I’m continually impressed by his attitude. Excited to see him continue to grow
Great, more people moving up here from Boston to squeeze us out of housing /s
How could it be a demotion, when he’s now on the main Celtics?
Dudes smashing on and off the court, no pressure. Let this man live.
I mean I would too if I were dropping 30 getting back on rhythm
Everything is an audition. How he handles his time in Portland and how he talks about it to the press, speaks volumes to his maturity. His time will come.
He’s gaining valuable experience and playing time. He’ll be taking Tillman’s minutes.
I love that this guy got drafted by Boston and immediately became the platonic ideal of a Dorchester bro
Man i gotta get up there and catch a game
How would starting on the G league right after being drafted be a demotion lol. Now someone like Bronny, who got drafted, played in games, THEN got sent down to the G league, yeah that’s a demotion. But Baylor is starting there so he can develop before moving up to the big leagues. It’s the same thing Jordan Walsh and Neemias Queta did and now they’re getting play time
Who wants to start a petition to have the team called “Maine Red Claws” again?
