Geno Smith & Richard Sherman talk Seattle Seahawks’ ELECTRIC win over San Francisco 49ers

Fresh off of a dramatic comeback victory over Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith joins Richard Sherman to discuss his clutch fourth quarter performance that thrusted Seattle back into the NFC playoff picture. Richard asks Geno about the Seahawks offense rebounding after 49ers star Nick Bosa left the game with an injury, his connections with his receiving corps of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and the emerging Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the tight NFC West race between the Seahawks, 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, and Arizona Cardinals, his relationship with new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, the surprising early retirement of Seahawks center Connor Williams, his journey from being perceived as a failure on the New York Jets to making the Pro Bowl in Seattle, and his upcoming contract negotiations with the Seahawks.

  1. Good win but if we are gonna win the division, Geno has to clean up his mistakes and use his legs more instead of staying in the middle of the pocket taking sacks. Obviously our oline needs to be better, and having Lucas back makes a difference. Our defense showed out yesterday. The rookie LB knight balled out

  2. That 3rd and 3 play on the final series where Geno threw to JSN rolling to his right with Warner right in front of him was scary with how good Warner is. That pass and the sideline pass from the endzone to JSN were very impressive.

  3. 22:55 I disagree with sherm on paying the man. Wilson got paid. And he sat in a box during the Super Bowl watching tom Brady wondering why it’s not him playing. Why? Because he took up all the money. Geno shouldn’t get greedy on this if he truly wants to win.

  4. Growing up I watched Sherman and the LOB. Can’t put to words how much I love seeing ex players interact with current players like this. You both deserve so much respect for everything you do and continue to do! Thank you

  5. As a die hard Niner fan I’m done with the Niners. You Geno are the real deal. When I went to Seattle for the first game the 12’s were world class fans very respectful and met many new friends there. Let’s bring the Super Bowl to the NFC West this year. KJ doesn’t look right on the Niner sideline. Sorry I said it.

  6. No disrespect to the Seahawks, but that game was gave up by the Niners !! They knew they were thin in pass rushers and didn’t do shit on free agency !! As soonest Bosa went out the defense look like shit !! Good win Hawks
