  1. The O – line was soiled I don’t think it was that bad that was a good front and we need to throw the ball quicker , JJ dropped that TD ,

And sam isn’t Joe it’s that simple Sam hasn’t thrown for 300 yards this year , Kirk was more of a sniper than Sam it’s just not the guys game and it’s just fine as long as we are winning

  2. as someone who was at the game, I got to see darnolds game up close through my own eyes, he played amazing. Would have had 3 touchdowns if nailor pulled that deep ball in late in the game. Also without that fumble in the first quarter, he probably could have had 4. He made incredible throws in the pocket with pressure coming at him, and he knew when to get out when he had to. With no run game, he played just about as good as you possibly can.

  3. If there's one flaw in KOC's offensive approach, it's that he depends too much on great individual performances, rather than scheming for deception. Evil Sean Payton showed the latter approach Sunday, with Bo Nix hitting a single target which was wide open from the play design. Nix takes the snap, spins left, fakes and follows RB a couple steps to the right, then fires back to the left, hitting a TE that sneaked across the field after faking a block to support a sweep. Everybody on D flowed to meet the sweep, leaving the TE wide open. Easy completion, TE flies into the endzone past the left marker. On this play there was only one target, but the play design was pure deceptive magic. Didn't require great route running, just a decent fake block by the TE, letting the edge rusher through to cover the fake sweep. The whole defense was bamboozled to see a pass going the other way. Any decent QB should be able to make the throw, and it requires zero superstars to make it work, just some decent acting.
Compared, KOC's plays tend to feature multiple skilled receivers, each one trying to beat the defense, and a QB that must read multiple moving targets, then choose one and hit the man with anticipation and accuracy. This requires a QB with refined skills and vision, plus a receiving corps with a high level of talent, plus an O Line that gives the QB enough time to read and execute. You can see why Darnold might tend to say, "screw all that," and just target Jefferson, rather than scanning multiple lesser receivers. He's not wrong.
KOC's approach isn't wrong either, but he needs to meet Darnold half way. KOC needs to engineer more deception into his scheme, reducing Darnold's reads, sometimes limiting his decisions to one guy, after a better engineered full team fake. Plus, as a fan it is far more entertaining to watch the opponent get defeated mentally, rather than physically.

  4. Vikings are 8-2 having played no where near their best ball yet. I am confident they will be playing at their best come playoff time.

Detroit has a game against Buffalo. If they lose that expect the last game of the year to be for the the #1 Seed.

  5. Yes, the secondary did not look that good. The offensive line looked scrambled. The zebras helped a lot; several PI calls that were terrible went in our favor. Usually the Vikings get skrewed, but not this time. Cam needs the ball more; Aaron Jones could be spent by the end of the season. 8-2 is great but it seems like there is a long way to go.

  6. I have been defending the second touchdown all morning. To Tell the Truth…the call should have been for Launching with the Helmet.
The Brown penalty should have been for launching helmet first, not for unnecessary roughness. The NFL has a specific rule called the **"Use of the Helmet" rule**, which prohibits players from lowering their head and launching to initiate contact with their helmet against an opponent. This rule is designed to protect players from head injuries and promote safer tackling techniques. Violating this rule results in a **15-yard penalty**, and if the foul is committed by a defensive player, it also results in an automatic first down for the offense. In some cases, the player can be disqualified from the game.
We will just have to throw our hands up on the holding, because to tell the Truth the Titans were, especially on their deep passes.

  7. Comparing the Dallas Turner situation to the Lewis Cine situation is not the way to make the point that Turner is going to be fine. 🙂

I do believe that Turner will be a great player, eventually. I was at the Jacksonville game, 10th row, 50-yard line. There was a play where Turner lost contain on a sweep and Etienne turned it up for big yardage. It happened right in front of me, and it was the one drive that Jacksonville scored. Turner got pulled after that play, and I don't believe he saw the field again, except for special teams.

Turner needs to improve his run game awareness for him to see more minutes in Flores defense. He is 21-year-old rookie…he has time to figure it out. It would be nice to be up by 2-3 scores late in games where we could get him more work.

  8. They seem to be what plagued the Vikings of old…they play down/up to their competition. They should have beat the Jags as bad as the Lions did and should have beat the Titans worse than they did…imo.

  9. I have always wondered why we line up three receivers on one side they have all their coverage over there on us the old days all the receivers would spread as wide as they could across the field that spreads the defense out am I wrong about my statement you just seem to be giving up half the field

  10. jamar doesnt get covered and gameplanned at all the same as jj. every week teams go looking to eliminate jj whereas we see time and time again jamar is always 1on1 thats how hes getting huge numbers. jj is doubled and tripled all game every game jamar isnt. JJ> jamar

  11. One way to get Jefferson the ball more is get him a better QB…Sam is good but late with the ball and not super accurate on the intermediate stuff especially…We got ONE waiting in the wings Thankfully!!

  12. If you look at the rest of the Vikings schedule all of their games are very winnable they coild be 14-2 by the time they play the Lions in the final game of the season and could be playing for the division title and number one seed in the playoffs

  13. Addisons a beast! So is JJ of course! Josh oliver lookin good. Our defense is beast! Our OL needs some work aside from brian oneil. Hes the one exception. Open those holes for the run game. Run, run pass!! Better play calling on KOC's part. Just keep giving a 110% and we could seal this deal. Skol!!🏈💨
