2. My Steelers are a great defense with a potentially explosive offense. But the Ravens and Bills are great too. The Chiefs have problems but also have the best QB in the league with one of the best coaches ever. The Chargers are dangerous. And if Miami can make it back into the playoff discussion, they are dangerous. I am not sure they can make it back. But if they do, they are dangerous.

   Then there are the Lions, the most complete team in the league.

   This is gonna be good.

The smartest thing Russel Wilson could do would be to goto Justin Fields and say the following: I'll accept an under vale contract is you agree to stay in Pittsburgh and be this teams designated closer. Anytime there is less than 6 minutes in the game and the Steelers have the lead, Justin, you come in and close it out. It's a role Fields would excel in whilst he sits back and continues to learn the position. Then in 4 season, here you go buddy. The keys to the Ferrari are yours. Pay Fields the $30 mil/year he's going to get offered by other teams to be your closer whilst Russ takes $20 mil/year to get his chance at two more Super Bowl appearances. At $50 mil, they'd have the best QB room in the league and , just like a Baseball pitching closer, Justin would have a major role on the team whilst he awaits the perfect team to take over when Russ retires. Justin would inherit a team that he's already knows and a coach he knows, and a system he could trust. Best situation for Russ, Justin, and the Steelers. Justin could start his tenure as a starter with two Super Bowl rings already in the closet when his era starts. Two rings he contributed to. Justin Filelds legs when being handed a a lead with under 6 minutes togo would be money for all concerned.
