  1. Anyone who still thinks Lamar is an MVP candidate hasn't been watching the games. At this point Saquon, Goff, and Josh Allen seem like the top 3. Until this week, I would have said Chris Jones, but he keeps vanishing late in games. Burrow has to be frustrated by the last two finishes. The race for 1 seed in the AFC could be interesting, none of the top 3 have an easy path, and the Chiefs and Steelers have a Christmas Day game.

  2. Random fun news for the Seahawks and a huge reason they won their game is that CMC rushed for only 79 yards this game, which is the lowest rush yards in a game vs the Seahawks in his career, and one of only two times he has faced Seattle and put up less than 100 yards on the ground. Probably the best thing for Seahawks to hear, and of course we also got Abraham Lucas back, who struggled early because of playing against Nick Bosa and we just ultimately had the luck that Bosa had to step out of the game with an injury.

For another thing I will continue to say the Falcons had a chance to win this division, had they actually had a 2024 draft class. Falcons took a QB they didn't need with Cousins' contract the way it is in the first round while they had Latu, Verse, Turner, and Robinson on the board who any could have been a top 10 pick, instead they took Ruke Orhorhoro in the second round, a DT they converted to DE and has been on IR since the beginning of October due to an ankle injury. They could have had Cooper DeJean instead here had they not been trying to make up for not getting DL in the first round. Assuming they still trade up instead of sit since they didn't have a waste of a first round. No comment on Round 3 as Trice had an ACL tear before the season, I will not mock the pick and just hope he comes back healthy for year 2.

  3. the falcons loss was actually good for me because now we can confirm that this franchise will never win anything so there's no reason to even have hope

  4. The 3 ints you didn't mention from Goff weren't fully unacceptable. The LaPorta one would have been a TD had he not tripped a bit. He didn't get his head around and if he had, the ball was right where it needed to be. One of the other ones Goff was getting hit in the hand, and the Jamo pick was just a bit short, probably a bad decision as tight as the coverage was.
