Aceti: If the Packers make the postseason, their path could realistically go through Philadelphia, Atlanta, and a division rival on the road. Does that remind anyone of something?

That has a nice RING to it..
Also played Philly first game of the season that year too.
Steelers are good too.
i doubt the falcons overtake the eagles but i can be romantic
I think it’s very likely the Packers end up as the 5th or 6th seed, so that means GB will draw the South or West winner in the WC. Likely facing the Falcons or Cardinals.
That means with a win, GB will probably be playing Detroit in the divisional and Philly in the NFCCG if they beat Detroit.
As long as its not San Francisco
I know it was the last one but can we please stop trying to recapture 2010? That was a once in a lifetime team that never trailed by more than seven points all season
I’m still flabbergasted we all let the bears get that close to a Super Bowl appearance. Those Steelers would’ve obliterated them
We did this last year too. Got in as the last seed after beating the bears, played an nfc east team on the road in the wc round, then played the 1 seed, and would’ve played an NFCN team in the ncfccg
😁😁😁😆😁😁😄😄😃😃😆 YAY
(Our defense does not remind me of something)
We knocked the eagles and the falcons and the bears off. Now we bout to cut troy polamalu hair off!
Except we had defensive playmakers everywhere that year
This team has a long way to go. No pass rush, bad db play. nixon is awful. Did i mention no pass rush? Boom or bust offense, turnover prone. Redzone deficient
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here, but yes, it does sound poetic. Just gotta start humming at the right time.
Could be the same as that squad back then. Won ugly for a lot of the season, then both sides started firing on all cylinders at the right moment. Rodgers got more consistent and turned into his MVP form. Got a great ground game going ala Starks. Young receivers stepping up, etc.
Man this is not only extremely premature, it’s way too early for “these are the cherry picked conditions we saw in the title run 15 years ago” posts. This is a new team. Let’s let them be their own men, not constantly living in the shadows of the last 30 years.
How did we from love is trash to SB or bust?
I’ll never forget some article I read in 09 comparing the switch of Favre to Rodgers like Montana to Young and that Young won it 3 years after replacing Montana and I was convinced Rodgers would do the same. Which he did (and I made like $200 in the process).
Would love for it to repeat lol
Sorry Fred. We are fanatical dreamers.
Make your reservations in New Orleans tonight. I suggest dinner reservations at Snug Harbor every night you can.
Yeah, but Love’s gotta get better.
Yeah but they had a real defense then
Just gotta make the playoffs and get hot at the right time, boys and girls.
Listen. We need a mfer to stop making silly interceptions and a coach that’s not allergic to points. Typing something like this after yesterday game didn’t watch it then.
Also Pittsburgh is pretty good…leading the AFC North..
I would love for this to happen. Only, I have very little faith that if the opposing OL was the little giants that we would have a hard time generating pass rush.
I always thought it’d be wild to see:
P – Philly
A – Atlanta
C – Carolina
K – Kansas City.
We all know how it ends…
But is this team really a Superb Owl?

Nope doesn’t remind me of anything. We are horrible in the redzone.
do not give me that hope… But we will need Lil Wayne to do a new song
so i dont have to see us lose in to to the seahawks or the 49ners… YES PLEASE!
