  1. we could’ve told you that 3 years ago when this clown took over.. not that i personally would want BB but any head coach knows it’s not a serious job if this guy is in charge..

  2. Why would head coach / gm Billie B not want that same responsibility with this franchise who is incapable of having nice things?

  3. Nooooooooooooooooo

BB feels like a temporary band-aid. He’s here a couple years, things don’t go his way and he quits. Right back in the same shit stew we always wind up in.

  4. I’d rather have Baalke than Bill. Dude is one of the greatest to ever do it, but the game has passed him by. You saw what New England looked like at the end of his regime. It’d only be worse down here. This would be an Urban Meyer level bad hire for different reasons. Not to mention he brings a Tom Coughlin style atmosphere with him. No thanks.

  5. I honestly don’t want Belichick can we not get this hype train going

Brilliant football mind but no thanks

  6. I see a lot of people getting fired up over this. I’m pretty sure it’s just in response to a post by Florio saying that a partnership between Baalke and BB could be likely.

  7. I know I’m in the minority here, but if we’ve got a chance to get the man who’s won more superbowls than any other coach in history to come to this dumpster fire of a franchise, I don’t think we should be complaining about that.

  8. I really think Bill is one of the greatest HC in NFL history, But the game has passed him by imo and i mean that respectfully.  happens to every great eventually.

  9. If Belichick coaches again, he wants to pass Shula. If he wants to win games, he probably wants to coach a better team. If he ends up on the Jaguars, its because all of the better teams turned him down. If all of the better teams turned him down…

  10. If we hire bb I’ll be so mad. Get a young innovative OC that builds the offense around Lawrence

  11. Y’all are being ridiculous about belichick. He was the best coach in the NFL for the better part of two decades and he’s won the same amount of super bowls as the Jaguars have playoff appearances. Belichick is a proven winner in the nfl and id much rather have him than a hot shot offensive coordinator with a 75% chance of being bad.

He led the post Brady, Mac Jones led patriots to a 10 win season and playoff appearance with terrible offensive players and over the hill defensive players yet y’all say the game has passed him by. How many coaches in the league could make the playoffs with Mac Jones?

At the very least he would fix our defensive issues.

  12. This isn’t a report this is her speculating. Don’t forget Russini has been caught making up stories about Jax in the past also.

  13. The HC is only as good as the quality of Coordinators and position coaches he hires. That’s a big part of the reason Doug is failing in Jax. His staff is one of the weakest/ worst I’ve ever seen… and We’ve seen a LOT of bad coaching staffs here in Jax over the last 20 years

  14. I’m amazed this is a narrative the media was actually running with. There’s no chance this was happening and it pisses me off it’s a topic because it just seems like lazy reporting
