As someone who loved those Georgia defenses nothing would make me happier if our non-Jalen dawgs developed into above average starters
People who wanted to discredit Howie were calling him a bust, ignoring that he’s only played two years and has dealt with multiple injuries
I was getting prepared to give up on him but he’s really turned a corner. It’s great to see. That open field tackle on Daniels was legit impressive & caused a 3 & out. Massive play.
Crazy what happens when you let players develop and don’t automatically deem them a bust after a few games
He is one of the biggest story lines this year in my opinion.
I’ve missed solid linebacker play
People writing him off and shitting on howie because he missed one season btw. He’s played more games than CJGJ since Dean came into the league
Watching the cowboys v Texans game last night, I randomly hear “Devin White got lost in coverage and late to the tackle”. Safe to say, that Vic chose right
I was pretty nervous about him going into this year but he’s been playing great. Yeah Baun is stealing the hype and everything but he’s made some huge plays and you can tell he’s really giving it his all on and learning off the field. Super happy for him
it was one year. TJ and Kyzir White were solid.
Glad he’s finally healthy. Mental reps and plenty of time to learn paid off
I think he always had this in him … it was just an issue of getting on field and staying on field
Love hia leadership and demeanor
People always rush young players into being immediate stars. Yes, that happens all the time IE looking at Q. But patience is always needed and I’m glad people stopped doubting Dean cause he’s saved our ass a couple times and has been a beast with Baun.
I want to go back and call out all the Nakobe Dean “this guy is a bust” posters from last year.
I was super critical of him. He seemed too flat footed and slow. He still kind of is, but his instincts are off the chart. Him and Baun are an incredible duo I hope we can keep developing and hold onto!!
