  1. I don’t understand how anybody thought this when we have a coach who’s been a massive winner everywhere he went and an elite QB. Like, the defense was a question mark, sure, (one that got answered) but there were still a lot of good pieces and defense is scheme as much as it is personnel. There was reason to believe that the scheme would be better than god awful like it was under Staley and in turn better overall. Put all of that together and worst team in the league was an absurd take.

  2. Lolol. What?!! Even with all the changes I didn’t think we’d be dead last. And to trade Herbert? Lol. 🤡

  3. Lol I get if you said the Chargers would miss the playoffs because it was a rebuilding year.

But worst team? With Justin Herbert and JIM HARBAUGH? That’s an insanely hot take, if not plain idiotic.

  4. Not gonna lie I feel like a lot of these former players have some of the worst takes on the sport.

  5. Guy has never thrown a pass in the NFL. Get fucked basement dweller. Back to your video games.

  6. Holy shit, I’ve seen some freezing cold takes but this one takes the cake. How do you even rationalize that?

  7. Never understood why people were so bearish on us in the first place. Turning things around doesn’t take that long if you have a competent head coach, which we got with Harbaugh. Plus our roster wasn’t devoid of talent even though TT wasn’t the greatest at team building.

  8. It’s a bit out there, but I could understand why people made this take. Our defense has been one of the worst in the league in the past few years and we had seemingly no weapons on offense. It’s crazy how much decent coaching has changed that.

  9. This is the clown who goes on TikTok live as “former nfl qb teaches you madden” when the dude barely had a sip of beer in the league

  10. I like Kurt a lot sucks that he had this take on my team but no reason to be salty about it. Hopefully he learned a lesson about saying dumb shit and does better going forward.

  11. lol I never block/mute people but I muted this dude over a year ago. Goes to show that just because you made the NFL, it doesn’t mean you know “football”. You actually have to watch and pay attention to what’s going on.

I don’t doubt that kurt can read a playbook, but he clearly doesn’t follow today’s NFL nearly enough as I got sick of seeing his absolutely absurd takes on a weekly basis
