  1. I am getting anxiety waiting for the next drop. Please don’t take O’C. He doesn’t have a big contract. We need him.🖤💛

  2. This blueline is barely AHL quality. Age has caught up with Letang. Karlsson is just plain bad. Graves is better than last season, but still meh at best. Grzelyck is simply not an NHL defenseman, neither is Shea. St Ivany looks to be at best a 7th defenseman. And Pettersson is having a bad season, but how much of that is him being dragged down by playing with Karlsson and/or Letang? And of course Jarry is mentally lost, and Ned isn't very good … but it would be tough for any goalie to successful behind this blueline. A rough two years for Dubas … hopefully he drafts better than he trades, acquires free agents and negotiates contracts.

  3. I agree that there just weren't any goalies on the market two summers ago. But at the same time, I've never understood why Dubas had to give Jarry that much for that long (5 years) at the time. That just never made sense. BTW … Jarry's buyout cap hit through 2030-31 if they buy him out this summer:
    2025-26: $1.75M
    2026-27: $5M (!!!)
    2027-28: $4.55M (!!!)
    2028-29: $797K
    2029-30: $797K
    2030-31: $797K

It would be better to trade him and retain 50% of this salary through 2028, if they can find someone to agree to that.

  4. I'd like to see the Penguins go with a complete rebuild from the head coach on down. I know that I'd like to see Crosby stay( but even Gretzky got traded) if we go with a complete Youth movement and you get a young coach with enthusiasm, and young players with exuberance maybe the fan base would embrace the team and support them. ( Lot of "E" words there, eh? LOL-a marketing tagline, maybe??) Honestly, I'd much rather see young guys get a chance at a future NHL career than these overpaid under performing players we've got now. The Pens tried to keep the "Core" and you're seeing the results.

  5. Karlsson's stats are better than Letang's . Pens fans have to be more honest with themselves when it comes to Letang . He's a bum that never played Defense and doesn't know how . Pens need to get away from the Offense mindset .
