Obviously the team didn’t play well enough to win but this would still have been a huge swing.

  1. I always tell the kids I coach, “You have to play 120% every opportunity so that the <insert sport here> Gods can’t beat you.”

Meaning the refs, umps, bad bounces, injuries, bugs in your face, broken equipment, and general bad luck.

The 49ers did not do that on Sunday.

  2. > this would still have been a huge swing

It COULD have been. What could have also happened was that we got for it, convert it, and then have it called back for illegal formation or false start.

  3. I don’t know if I have ever seen the officiating this bad in any season before. It’s terrible and one of the reasons I’m starting to pull a little away this year. It’s unbearable to watch sometimes. Am I supposed to believe that Trent is holding players but Bosa hasn’t been held all year?

I feel like it’s turning into the NBA where a call is made on one team, but the exact same penalty is not being called the other way.

I don’t care if it favors or hurts my team, just call it down the line both ways.

  4. No excuses, we sucked vs Seattle. On the next, season ain’t over, I didn’t hear no bell.

We been here before. 10-7, first in the west loading. Kyle is gonna get in his bag on Sunday.
    We been here BEFORE.

One player is gonna will their way to playoffs this year. Purdy got that dog in him? We’re about to find out.

  5. This is what I thought happened. Illegal procedure. Refs were trash that whole game. Catching out of bounds is legal now, though. So plan accordingly

  6. From the broadcast it looked like shanny was arguing that they should be penalized and the refs were letting him know they were gonna let it slide

  7. This and the missed call on that JSN “catch” where he was fully kneeling out of bounds were egregious.

  8. We still should’ve won. They took full advantage of Bosa being off of the field and made plays when they absolutely had to.

Sucks but now they gotta dust themselves off and get ready for the Packers. As always, fuck the Seahawks!

  9. Man I knew that was suppose to be a 5 yard penalty, people thought I was tripping, these refs suck ass, and not in a good way.

  10. Wow shafted by the muffed punt that wasn’t called in our first matchup and now this…

Plus not a single holding call on Seattle…

  11. Shanahan is so mad right now. He had the perfect double reverse end around for Deebo drawn up for the 4th and 1

  12. They also let not one but two catches stand after review clearly showed the ball was caught out of bounds.

What’s more frustrating than losing the game is how this bs hangs a narrative over the whole season. We certainly didn’t play well enough to “deserve” to win just wish they had called the game straight.

  13. Between this and those very questionable challenge receptions, just fuck us i guess

How many red zone possessions suddenly had a drive killing holding play? And Seattle never held?

I really try not to doom about ref conspiracies anymore, but it just was rough this game

  14. You can see Kyle yelling at the officials that’s their second timeout. Yet they just ignored the rules and let is pass.

  15. All you needed to see was Mike McDonald’s reaction on tv. Wasnt able to hear what the broadcast was saying but it sure was odd.

This isn’t a the NFL is against SF thing, the officiating is awful. The NFL product is getting shittier.

  16. The Seahawks coaches body language and grabbing and pulling off headset which the broadcast kept replaying over and over during this delay was enough evidence that he indeed fucked up and called another timeout but nope

  17. Would have given them a first down I believe. Not that it matters now. Another bummer of a game. Going to be tough to make the playoffs with Packers, Bills and Lions still on the schedule.

  18. We already had a pattern of not closing close divisional games this season. This, and the slipping on the field didn’t help either this past week.

  19. And still no accountability for the refs. Sad to see the sport I enjoy so much lose its credibility.
