“JJ Redick has been everything that this Lakers team wanted him to be. Players have responded very well to how much he cares and what LeBron James is doing is remarkable. This Lakers team should have a lot of confidence and they could potentially make a move at the deadline”

  1. Wood, Gabe and Picks for Walker Kessler give up a first round unprotected to get it done if you have to. A bench of DLo Knecht Vando Kessler would be great. dream would be getting Kessler + Sexton

  2. Honestly even if we don’t go as far as we like, I’m happier this season just from better vibes, and knowing that our guys were put in a better position to succeed. Last year it just felt like they were on their own out there on the court and that was at least half the frustration. Other half of the frustration is Pelinka lol. But I’ll take a half step

  3. Stupid question, but can someone explain why they always say ‘at the deadline’ for a trade? Isn’t the deadline the last day they can trade players? Why not trade them today?

  4. Seeing what Koloko can provide for the next couple weeks, he could be the athletic rim protector we want. Still need a big body to deal with the bigger Cs, but Koloko could be a sneaky option to not overpay for Kessler if he can be 70% of what Kessler is.

Could be the difference between giving up 2 1sts for Kessler/Sexton or giving up Gabe/2nds for Olynyk or Valenciunas which would save the picks for another area of need.

  5. Our number 1 priority should be a two way guard. If that price is too high then it’s a two way swing/forward. Then the last priority should be a center.

  6. Who would you be willing to trade though ? That has some value I mean. I wouldn’t want to touch the squad tell much.

  7. Imagine players reading this… “You are responding very well to the coach and he’s everything you wanted to be. So great that the team is potentially going to trade you at the deadline”… lol
