One of the ways I look at how well a coach is motivating players is how willing DBs are to really whack receivers when they get a chance to. It is hard to get players invested enough to want to do this. Saw lots of that last year from the Browns, but a big fall off this year. It is not just Thornhill.

I know other markets are supposed to be harder and all that but nah. So many players just can’t handle it here and the ones that do go beyond embracing the city, they retire here.
This is a team/city/environment you have to buy into. If you don’t get the fuck out. You really have to get it to be great in Cleveland and while I know it’s a tough ask because you grew up one way but if you can’t accept it then get the fuck out. You can be the best player at your position and come here. If you don’t get Cleveland you will fail because it’s just to much to overcome mentally.
I’m tired of weak minded players. It sucks in the NFL because you have to roster 53 of them but that’s the deal and if you can’t realize that you are being paid millions to adapt then fuck you. That’s why we dont like you.
