  1. We can’t even find a starting center out of 32 teams?

*or even a backup from one of those 32 teams that are better then Brendel.

I mean, we had kickers picked off the streets kicking long field goals and making them.

  2. Run blocking 13th is literally the only thing the team cares about here, so im mentally preparing for brendel to sign an LTD

  3. Trent and Puni doing everything they can to keep us from having the worst Oline in football.

Brendel, ~~Brooks~~ Banks and McKivitz are not quality NFL football players.

  4. I think Brendel makes the rest of the line worse. Especially Banks. The center adjusts protections in this offense.

If he knows that he is a subpar pass blacker and he is calling protections to protect himself then he isn’t thinking clearly how to protect the QB.

  5. He is so bad. When him or McKivitz got flagged for a false start and then got beat so laughably bad for a sack of Purdy on the NEXT FUCKING PLAY. Brendel and McKivitz need to be gone next year.

  6. We ever going to see Jon Feliciano? Thought he was just about ready to go? I don’t see how we could do much worse than Brendel.

  7. I would like to take this moment to declare my draft crush for the 2025 nfl draft and invite you all to join the bandwagon.

Logan Jones, center out of Iowa.

    * 6’3″, 293

    * 3 year starter at center, so he’s got a ton of experience

    * Converted D-lineman so he’s got some experience on the other side of the ball

    * He plays for Iowa, a program that has been sending excellent O-linemen to the NFL for decades

    * Has only given up 4 pressures total this year so far

    * He’ll be 23.5 years old on draft night so he’s got more grown man strength than your average rookie

    * True athletic freak of nature

    * Set the iowa squat record at 695 lbs

    * Reportedly had a vertical jump of 36 inches which might be an OL record

    * Ran a 4.09 short shuttle which would beat Jason Kelce’s combine record of 4.14. Short shuttle has a very high correlation for success in the NFL. [Tweet for more info](https://x.com/JoshNorris/status/1630314384588251139)

    * Had a 10 yard split of 1.53 which is faster than Purdy

    * Clean track record of health and availability

    * High character. Voted team captain for multiple games this year. Really well spoken dude in interviews

Brendel is the weakest link on this offensive line and we’ve seen high quality, athletic centers completely transform Shanahan’s offense before. Jones would be a perfect fit.

This is our franchise center for the next 10 years and I’m going to be devastated when we draft a fucking long snapper over him in the 3rd round because our front office value special teamers more than centers in the draft.

  8. Remember that competition where he won the center job? Who did he beat out again? Oh there wasn’t a competition? He was just given the job as some no name journey man scrub? Super cool.

  9. I will always remember this season for paying 72m guaranteed to Aiyuk while only putting one draft pick into the Oline.

  10. Why is everyone surprised about the fact the OL is ass, when nothing was done to correct the issue it had last year? We hit on Puni, and got lucky there, but that’s about all that was done to help: take a flyer on a rookie in the 3rd and hope it sticks (which luckily seems like it did).

Same issue with the DL: let people go and sign journeymen from the streets, hoping it all pans out.. turns out Bosa isn’t as good as the stats would like you to believe he is, and especially when he is the only real player of value on that entire DL who’s left playing for the team after everyone was allowed to walk to sign a certain #11 to a shit over-priced deal.

This team, in its current iteration, is pretty much done. It’s old, tired, banged up, about to hit free-agency en-masse and short on cash. The window closed last year, but nothing was really done to keep it open longer, and it’s frankly sad as the likes of #54, #71, #85 will never end up with a Ring at this pace, which sucks just as much as the #52 or #21 of good ol’ past we failed already.. shame.

  11. Give me the highest rated center/RT back to back in April. Need this dude and McKivitz off my team.

  12. There it is….the numbers don’t lie. You want your reason for blown protection, not shifting protection at the line its right here. Our center is not a leader, he can’t make adjustments based on the defense and he’s costing us games and potentially the health of our position players. It’s only a matter of time before his screw ups get Brock injured.

  13. Why doesn’t this team invest in the o line? Im so sick of us having garbage guards and tackles.

  14. Kyle’s genius is collapse the QB pocket fast so defense thinks for sure it’s a sack, and quick fire a pass off before getting killed
