he’s a bum
He obviously has some upside, but his inability to be a good defender at his size is inexcusable. He seriously needs to develop that end of his game is he wants to be an effective player
He’s Ben Simmons without the defense
Sorry, but no. Giddey is a point guard on offense and a ghost on defense, that’s not a power forward any way you slice it.
Let’s stop pretending yahoo sports is made up of some expert sports minds. This sub seriously can’t stop complaining about this kid 15 games into the season.
I think Pwills at Point Guard the other day worked well for this team as a nice change of pace

He’s a bench guy, sadly.
He’s basically Kyle Anderson. Tall for a guard, great passing vision, but also unathletic, a non-shooter, and a bad defender. Decent role player but not somebody you’d ever build a team around.
I’d love for someone to list some guards who can’t shoot or defend that are good NBA players.
Should’ve been a draft picks for Caruso. You don’t trade win now proven players for guys who can’t crack a rotation on their incumbent roster.
We can say the same thing about Doncic. He’s not a PG
Can’t wait for the Bulls to overpay for his next contract so they don’t lose the Caruso trade. Nice work AKME!
He is a tall John Stockton with none of the defense. Yahoo has no idea what they are talking about with articles like this.
This is such a meaningless statement in today’s league. His skill set is a guard. His major issue is that he’s too slow to guard faster players. He needs to switch onto wings on defense or guard slower less ball dominate guards.
This means every game will need tons of planing and tape to know which player he can safely defend.
