Core 4 U-24: Canadiens’ young talent is best in NHL
TSN’s annual Core 4 U-24 project starts with a ranking of all 32 NHL teams based on their talent under the age of 24 as of the start of the NHL season. Gino Reda is joined by Craig Button for a detailed break down of where each of the seven Canadian teams rank. For the entire Core 4 U-24 project, visit TSN.ca today and for the rest of the week.

Gonna dominate the league in a couple years. A dynasty is being born. Looking to add Hagens for the cherry on top. 😉😁
Not Toronto based
No core bullshit
Not that kind of TEAM
Hard disagree. Demidov isn't even in the NHL yet and Lane Hutson has barely had a cup of coffee.
Stop other teams don't worry about a core 4…that's a T.O thing and its dumb
Nope San Jose ,columbus habs have only two
Who is going to play center for them? Ill take San Jose's easily as their top 2 pieces can both play down the middle.
Craig Button is and will always be a moron. This is a guy who still has Bouchard and Montembault on his 4 Nations Team Canada roster. We are weak enough for goal that Sam is in the hunt, but at RH defenseman, we have so many better choices than Bouchard. Button is nothing but a mouthpiece who is paid to talk up Canadian teams and their players, whether deserved or not.
Kaiden Guhle 🙂
There is a LOT of young talent already in the NHl and a lot more coming San Jose has a really nice roster of young players including a D man I really like Sam Dickenson.
Dallas already has Wyatt johnston Stankovan and Thomas Harley on D who had 15 goals last year I doubt Hutson ever scores 15 in his entire career maybe never even 10.
I really like Leo Carlsson and Ollen Zellweiger then Sanjose has several really good young players within the next two years they will have two very good top lines.
What people need to understand is that just being good won't matter if your not played on the top two lines otherwise you'll just be a max 30 pt player.
So Hagens may never see a top 6 role Slafkovsky has been looking more like I expected a 3rd liner only elevated to a top 6 role becuase the Habs don't have anyone.
Hall Eberle Nuge Yakupov 2.0. Same crap. Look back to 2012, TSN panel were pumping the oilers.
Yea sure thing, still a last place team when Montreal should be a bubble team already
Until Montreal shows they can win, none of this matters. Maybe they have great young talent, but if they can’t win who cares.
Thanks Mr Button, you bolstered my faith in my Canadiens. Fingers crossed it all falls into place.
three more top first rounders . Un touchable. Shades of 70 dynasty.
Reinbacher Hage, Koivi, Beck, Emil, Kapenen, Mailloux, Guhle, laine, Dach, Suzuki, Newhook Evans , Plus Buttons 4. This years first probably times 2.
Habs haters are gonna feast with this one lmao
Forgot Ghule…! 21-22, top 2 D, he's 6'2, and does it all: pk 1st duo, great 1st pass, tough, can bring some offense, can drop…And a bit like Gally, he always give it all
lol TSN you always black out MTL games – and you want me to subscribe? lol
Mayor of whoville giving props to MTL 😂😂
Caufield, Slaf, Hutson, Demidov,Hage, Roy, Guhle, Reinbacher, Mailloux, Fowler, and then being led by Suzuki. Yeah this team is gunna be deep in a couple years and it’s funny watching people try and deny it.
How is Hutson only A rating
And will get another top prospect this year. That's why the early season struggle didn't bother me. Was only looking for them to improve and push for a wildcard. This team is still a few years away from fighting for the division and pushing for playoff success. The team and the farm are setting us up for years of top notch hockey.
TSN delusion at its finest.
