Why is this line playing more minutes than our top line?

Bc Lalonde is a hockey terror1st and doesn’t know what he’s doing.
The same reason why Adam Erne would sometimes lead the forwards in ice time..
Because we do a lot of good things and the Sharks are a really talented team
Because our top guys play PP and PK. I think our plethora of “defensive” forwards should be handling the PK so our top 6 can focus on scoring goals.
They aren’t. This says that they played more even strength minutes than any other line. The top line guys all played about 19-20 minutes and these guys averaged about 14 for the game as a whole. Top end forwards in a lineup are generally right around that 20 minutes per game overall number.
Because all of the top line guys are also getting play in special teams. Larkin and Raymond are playing both PP and PK. That’s not factored into that measure.
