Well to be fair he still is the qb2
The amount of complaining from this 2-8 team is incredible. Lock looked absolutely awful anytime he saw the field. Jones was awful for most of the season. That’s why you guys aren’t playing.

I think Daboll is gone after this year. I feel like he’s probably going to be scapegoated for how he handled this transition, even though Mara was certainly on board with his plan. Same thing happened to McAdoo.

The season is done. Drew, they don’t want to win any more games but they can’t say it. Cutlets puts butts in seats. It’s as simple as that.

The Saints did the same thing. Skipped over their QB2 for Rattler who wasn’t even on the game day roster before Carr’s injury.
It’s the Giants so it’s being made a bigger deal than it is. DeVito is young. Team isn’t making the playoffs. It’s time to evaluate everyone. Lock is on a one year deal. He’s not apart of the future.

This is blowing up in Daboll’s face and I love it. He may have fooled the fans by throwing Jones under the bus and convinced them he was the only thing holding us back but he didn’t fool the locker room. Every move he’s made has been to protect his own ass especially naming DeVito the starter. Those players can see how Daboll has failed Jones and screwed up the entire season and they’re turning on him. Daboll is a lame duck.
It’s because he fucking sucks. Dude looked like shit in training camp and looked like shit in the preseason. The only reason he was #2 over Devito was because he got paid 5 million dollars. Daboll is putting in Devito because he thinks that gives him a better chance of winning. If I blame anyone, it’s Joe Schoen for giving us this terrible QB room. It’s gonna be an ugly ass 7 games regardless of if Devito or Lock are playing, and I’m sure Lock will get his chance to stink it up after Devito does.
