no guts. leafs were the same until they traded for ROR, Schenn and Mcabe. Schenn and ROR left.
Jake over there in TB…… do Bunting and Ponomorovomorov make up for it?
it's not all youth or all vets, it's a slow transition, or at least it should be because the youth need to learn from the vets.

the whole 'go youth' conversation is wrong. FSG pushed that on dubas because he's NEVER been interested in youth, not at toronto and not in his first year at pitts.
The conversation should be FIX the DEFENCE. It's blatantly obvious that they are so porous. that'll support the goalies and get their confidence back and the team can be respectable.
HOW? yikes…… I say EK needs to go,,, to where i have no idea, but the pens need a SOLID defender, like what tanev is doing in Toronto. Petterson WILL return to form. dont trade him. Letang? hang on, he'll probably play well as the team gets a bit better but i'm open to a trade. Grezlek by all accounts was bad in boston so WHAT is he doing here?????? TRADE you might have to put a forward in with that trade, which should have been Eller, but preferably glass etc. Eller for a third is a joke and a waste. but yes, fix the D!!!!!!!!bunch of draft picks aint helping.
Nobody wants to play defense, including the Defensemen.
Clearly Sullivan getting mad doesn’t mean a damn thing, he has completely lost control of this team. He needs to go NOW! And WTF was Jarry doing on that overtime goal???
I knew when the pens scored the 2nd goal, that the lightning had then right where they wanted them….
How much more years of Sully do we have to go through. Look at Boston. They had a bad handful of games, then bam! Fired their head coach a day or two ago. This is 3 years of Sully.
If the Pens are going to be bad, I just hope they can be consistently bad enough to get a good lotto pick.
How many blown leads have there been over the last few years ? It has to be a record and Sully’s time should be up for this and a putrid PP

Best and fastest player on the team, Jesse Puljujarvi, plays like 9 minutes a night, no pp time, no or time. Better to put Acciari out there.
Grezlcyk is the worst defenseman in history and he's like oh ok let's play him big minutes at big times.
been saying it for 2 1/2 years now, sully needs to go. his time is long gone and this team looks like peewee players out there
I think it really is time to let Sullivan walk. Of course it might not make any difference, having a new HC or an entirely new coaching staff, but on the other hand how could it be any WORSE? Also, it might damn well make a difference – we've seen it many times with other teams turning it around after a coaching change, and this team has the talent to do that and at least compete. It doesn't diminish any of Sullivan's successes and accomplishments here. He'll also have no trouble getting employment elsewhere. There's just no reason anymore to hang on to the status quo.
The only person who should be bag-skated out of town is Sullivan
time for a shake up. Coaching change is best course in the near term. Also time to unload older guys and rebuild. Crosby also should be moved to another team. Dragging this out further is only causing more long term pain.
Sullivan acting tough in press conferences means NOTHING
I'm tired of blaming coaches. When your core leadership is in their late 30s they shouldn't need a babysitter. Perfect example? They had the worst PP in FRANCHISE HISTORY last year and not one of the big 4 can figure out they have to change?
Trade Sidney Crosby for Elias Pettersson. The jersey has a Penguin on it and not Crosby's face.
Exactly what a team of 30+ year olds need, a bag skate…
What are they even trying to do now? You want to keep this guy for a rebuild? So now Montgomery is available…whats the excuse now?
Defense has been crap for 5+ seasons. Problem is now they have no offesne firepower. I mean we lose Jake, Tanev, Rodriguez, and others what do you expect?
This team needs to get bag skated. They forgot what being a professional means. Maybe another coach can teach them
People calling for the head coach to be fired are literally 50 IQ mouth breathers who know nothing about hockey. Hextall and Mario ruined this team and sold it to Boston and sully is just the scapegoat behind the bench.
Hilarious how 🗑️ the bottom teams are in the East. 9 teams separated by 3 points all fighting for the last wildcard spot.
Pens have played the most games too and their next 9 games look very tough.
They'll be out of the picture for sure by then.
Pens are the best (or worst) 40-minute hockey team in history. Old legs can’t keep up. Malkin looks lost half the time.
Dan Kingerski, the vaccine-pusher has spoken. This man had the unmitigated gall to censor those of us with a dissenting opinion on the subject. Some "journalist…" Dan must be as baffled by Penguin collapses as he is by the words "sudden & unexpected."
Grezlcyk is not an NHL defenseman why does he play so much?
