The tweet says “Drew Bannister said Philip Broberg has been skating and is ahead of schedule. He’s about 2 1/2 weeks into a 4-6 week timeline.”
He can’t come back soon enough!
Great news but please don’t rush it.
If Perunovich keeps playing well, there could be some interesting decisions coming.
If this is a knee strain, then the knee ligaments have been torn. They need to make sure this injury fully heals before he returns or he will suffer permanent damage to his knee that will impact his performance on the ice. Management needs to play the long game with their young core players.
