This is a really nice change since the defense of past seasons has been consistently burned by TEs.
Chiefs just flipped the script and hit Gray in the end zone for 2 TDs, We’ve been good but “total dominance” is a stretch.
I remember after W1 when someone posted a stat about how much we had locked down Trey McBride and MHJ in that game. And some knucklehead (donāt remember if this was twitter comments on the main NFL sub or what) was complaining that it was just a cherry picked stat of a rookie receiver and a tight end. Fast forward to now and those two guys are far and away the two most productive pass catchers on the team. Dumbfuck did not know ball at all lmao
I like how the defense has been playing. But this is a bit disingenuous considering we gave up two TDs to Noah Gray.
This is irrelevant to the post but I still think Andrews is still a top 3 TE in the league even after his injury. The dude is so underrated.
Kelce is the best āreceivingā TE but Andrews and Kittle do everything and do it very well.
Cool. So, Steele was able to step up. Likely has too in other games and had a reception in the game with Bills. And, everyone throws out stats for week 1 because it’s so wonky.
TEs across the league have not been that great this year. This is despite the talent level at the position — or probably more accurately — defenses catching up and getting more coverage LBs and fewer thumper LBs on the roster.

Terrell Bernard and Dorian Williams are monsters.
