Two leases concerning the Buffalo Municipal Golf Course were up for renewal during the city council meeting Tuesday night, one for the facilities and the other for the city-owned liquor license.

Councilwoman Myra Camino made a motion to increase the lease amount for the facilities operated by the Buffalo Golf Club.

Adam Michelena, representing the golf club, explained that they operate the golf course for the city as a non-profit organization, and asked that the council not increase their lease amount.

The council voted unanimously to increase the lease rate amount for facilities to $1,000 annually and to approve the lease agreement, and also voted to renew the liquor license lease at the previous rate of $1,000 per year.
