  1. Really enjoy your work. I am learning current hockey systems from you no one else talks about, I'm 61 and a lifelong player and fan. I had no idea how Bones was coaching the Jets last year until I saw your video on my team a few weeks ago. I always wondered why Appleton (no offense Jason ) seemed to getting more TOI than Nick Ehlers…he had a career year last year despite playing a paltry 13 mintutes on average. That is a crime ! I know Nick can be a liability at times defensively but he more than makes up for it. He's dangerous every time he touches the puck and he makes other players better. I heard a Dallas fan say in the comments that that was why Bones was fired there, he was too stubborn in his ways and was getting out-coached. Love the guy, but today's game requires constant adaption and flexibility, and the Jets have the depth to alter their style as needed. We shall see. It's a long season, and I think our D needs a top 4 upgrade before we can be considered a real threat to win Lord Stanley's Mug. Cheers

  2. I'm biased I feel but considering calgary was expected to be 28th overall and are currently 1 point back of the division lead I'd say they're winners. Although that's mostly due to wolf as the offense is shit

  3. as a life long wings fan, any time you point out the truth, idiots make comments like, "i bet you cant even skate" or "good thing you are the GM" or "what do you know about hockey, you have never played or coached in the NHL." it is ridiculous. Detroit hasnt been this bad since the 80s.

  4. also Kane is absent on the ice. he never chases a puck that doesnt land right on his the blade of his stick and Teresenko is also barely noticable.

  5. What's funny is anyone thinking Marchand is an offensive player to rely on… he's had maybe three good seasons offensively. Most of his career has been in the bottom six, and he leads the league in suspensions from dirty plays. Boston would be better if they dropped him back into the bottom six and let someone with actual skill play bigger minutes.

  6. I’m a Lightning fan, and I more or less agree with their exclusion from either list. They’ve had consistency issues that have caused them to be very mid up to this point in the season. When they play well, they do things like beat the Jets. When they play poorly, they do things like lose to the Flyers. Once they figure out how they want to play, I expect them to turn up on one of these lists. Go big or go home.

  7. My feeling is that Adam Lowry is never mentioned as captain of strong Jets team, he is doing all the hard work captain needs to be and he is doing it perfectly. Defensively stable, fights for teammates, strong in PKs. Most underrated captain in the NHL right now.
