[JP Finlay] Marshon Lattimore wont practice today. He will work on side fields

looks like we wont see him till after the bye sadly
Bummer, but we aren’t much of a football team if we can’t beat the Cowboys without him.
I am perfectly fine saving him until we need him against Philly and Atlanta and the playoffs
Keep him on ice until after the bye I guess. But he better play at a pro bowl level once he gets back
DQ did say that if he looks good he’ll work him into practice Thursday or Friday.

It’s all good. We don’t need him to pummel Dallas. Think long term.
Expected. This is just how they are with injuries and I don’t mind it
lol this shits getting old . What’s 23 doing
If he’s out this week you might as well sit him next week too so then he also gets the additive effect of the bye week. His first game can be against his former team so you know he’ll be up for that…
He could work on Justin Fields, but we need him out there hopefully soon. They going to wait till after the bye won’t they ?
Glad we have people in the building making smart decisions to rest our brand new elite CB and not give in to what the fans (me included) want to see. Seeing a team with a long term strategy is a breath of fresh air.
I don’t get this trade. A 28 y/o cb dealing with injuries? Plus CB seems to be the position where you can fall off fastest after RB.
Damn I thought it was supposed to be an “injury” that would magically heal when he got here 😭
Lattimore wasn’t just a “rental” he is a part of the plan moving forward past this year…we juat gotta breath.a bit..even if he doesn’t take a snap this year..its fine. Peters said he got the medical history on the injury and I trust their assessment. I get we are super excited about what’s going on right now with this team. We also have to just relax a bit. Peters and those guys got this.
There’s a chance that this ends up being a really bad trade if he can’t get/stay on the field. I hope to be proven wrong, but I’m generally not a fan of acquiring injury prone players
There’s a 100% chance he plays after our bye
50/50 chance we plays the Titans
Continues to be the move Peters shouldn’t have made. Those picks are more valuable than an aging, always injured corner.
I’m fine with the trade still, we have contract control for 2 more years after this one. We needed a CB1 and now we don’t. He will be vital to this team going forward, he will be needed to help shut down the better teams in the playoffs. I don’t think this was Peters decision alone, I think Dan had a lot of input in it. Dan knew our secondary wasn’t good enough to run Witt’s scheme. Because we now have Lattimore and because of Sainstrill really improving, if we can sign another quality starting corner in FA or hit on another like we did with Sainstrill in the draft, we could have one of the best secondaries in the league next year
My main thing is he isn’t rushed to play
When we got him i dont think any of us expected to see him play before the bye week. So he’s right on schedule
Dan Snyder and 95% of the current fans would force Marshon into action.
I’m okay with this. When was the last time we had an elite CB? We gotta be careful. Need him for the Super Bowl.
I think they are just saving him for after the bye at this point.. why risk it vs. underperforming teams? We need him for the push, not the weeks leading into the bye vs ass teams
Let’s face it, we took a chance on damaged goods. Nothing terrible, nothing great.
