[Oyefusi] Browns coach Kevin Stefanski not worried over hot seat talk

Less we forget Steelers and Ravens fans constantly complain about their coaches as well. He just signed an extension and has brought more stability than any of the last 10+ coaches. So this click bait BS can piss off
Because if and when he’s fired there will be several teams clamoring for him.
No kidding. The guy seems unworried about everything.
As he shouldn’t be because his seat shouldn’t be hot.
I mean what’s he suppose to say?
I hate articles like this because do you really think the coach is gonna say “yeah if we keep playing like shit I’m gonna get canned?”
The seat isn’t even lukewarm.
Nor should he be.
It’s crazy to me how the “Vrabel is going to be the next HC” crowd is literally just the “fire Stefanski” crowd from previous years trying to use a different argument. Stefanski and Berry aren’t going anywhere no matter what amount of projection people use here.
Yall gonna hate on me for saying this, but dude’s seat is hot. Scape goat of Watson won’t work, he hasn’t been playing for weeks and the offense is still bad, the defense has regressed, the o line has regressed massively after Calihan left, penalties are out of control, the special teams have been bad, and no one seems to care in the lockerroom.
As much as I hate to admit, if we end up in another rebuild, you cannot keep the coaching staff that ended up there. We’ve seen that fail time and time again for not only ourselves but the league as a whole.
He’s not going anywhere. Just dumb loud fans that would also bitch the loudest when he goes and has success with another team about how they can’t believe they fired him.
Do you really think you’ll get better than Stefanski, especially given this franchises decision making? Vrabel is not the answer, either.
Berry, on the other hand….goodbye.

This fanbase/media is honestly delusional. This guy is probably the most competent person in this organization. What does firing him accomplish? You went all in on Deshaun and it didn’t work out this year. Doesn’t mean you can’t pivot. Firing people over one bad season is how you end up in a spin cycle of shit.
I don’t think Kevin should be fired but, this is part of the whole problem. Nobody is worried. 2-8, and nobody gives a f.
I love kev as much as Kev hates quarterbacks. I’d be happy with him as our coach for the next 10 years.
I’ve lost faith in KS this year BUT not early enough to move on.
Can Berry and Depo and let KS bring in his own GM and pick his own QB.
He has earned that right and a few more years and would love to see him work with a real talented rookie at QB.
The only situation where Stef is fired and I don’t completely lose it is if he is replaced by Vrabel, still don’t want him fired, but I’d be a lot more comfortable in that situation
If Stefanski starts making power points we all should get worried.
Even if his seat is hot, why the hell would he be worried? He signed a contract extension this year, and if chose to find another head coaching job, he’d have one either immediately or after next season. KS is a good coach.
Of course he’s not. He won COTY twice. If he’s fired it’s just another “great” decision made by the most dysfunctional organization in the NFL. He gets rid of the Haslams, get a big severance package and get a new job before the Super Bowl.
What’s the worst that can happen? Two time CotY gets fired from a shit organization. I wouldn’t be too upset if I’m him and would look forward to every grudge match in the future.
Unless he traded for Watson , i place no blame on him
Why on earth would he be worried? If he gets fired he will be one of if not the most desired coach on the market and he gets away from the DW4 nightmare. The Browns firing him would be a good thing for his individual career.
Yes because he wants out!
He shouldn’t be; how many more years should he be expected to make miracles out of injury decimated teams?
Bye bye

In reality, he shouldn’t be. If he gets fired, everyone knows this clown show of a mess is on the GM and owners. Every desperately offensive team out there is either going to want him as head coach or offensive coordinator.
He was 37-30 going into this year and was the reigning COTY, winning that two times in the last four years. Whatever is going on with this team is not because he is a bad coach.
It would be completely dumb to get rid of this man as HC.
