The call occurred in the fourth quarter when the Steelers were awarded a first down at their 23-yard line. Barnes was called for tripping Lynn Swarm of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Result
The Steelers scored a touchdown on a 22-yard run by Franco Harris, which increased their lead to 28-17. The interference call was a major topic of conversation and controversy. 2 more possibly could have changed outcomes of those two Super Bowls. Less we forfet TE Jackie Smith dropped pass in end zone. Nobody wants to say this but jerry jones is racists , I know he has payed Black players in the past and recent as this year but that rich tycoon does not want to pay Black players if he doesn't have to.
