[Tynan] Spoke briefly with a Spurs staffer who said Victor’s knee bruise is deep, and was the kind of injury that felt worse the next day than it did the night it happened. He’s doing fine but they’re not gonna push it.

  1. I just hope he’s healthy in time for the game against the Lakers next Wednesday. Spent an arm and a leg (at least based on what I make) to go see it.

  2. PSA. Miles Bridges recently returned from a bone bruise. He was out a couple of weeks. These things take time.

  3. Nor should they push it. It’s still not a huge deal whether we win games or not this year.

  4. Was just gonna post this. Sounds like there’s no structural damage to the knee and it’s just a pain thing so it makes sense to sit Wemby and not push it

  5. Bone bruises can really freaking hurt. Even if there’s no actual damage and he can play on it, I’m glad the Spurs are being patient. No sense in him forcing himself to play through pain in games in November right now.
