Nakken to leave Giants for Guardians front office gig

I’m getting uneasy about everyone leaving. I wish her the best though.
Many talented and smart people jumping ship. Unfortunately the writing is on the wall. Posey will need to find some magic to make this work.
Congratulations to her! It’ll be a loss with how close she seemed to the group. Will her position be replaced or is this part of downsizing the organization is seeing? That is my question.
Genuine question but do we have a manager right now? I don’t remember if we kept Melvin.
Why are we saying talented people are leaving when the team has been dog shit for quite some time ? If anything I’m all about bringing in new people and getting the farhan regime outta here.
Awwww man! Guess I’ll be getting some Guardians gear. Hope she’s ready for the cold and snow
Eh, whatevs. I’ve been a Giants fan for 55 years and have been lucky to be around for the super highs and some lowest lows. This is part of it. Trust in Buster (for a few years). At the very least, this years shakeup will have fans wanting to see what happens in 2025. #BeatLA!
what’s more concerning about the people leaving is that they’re going to orgs that are notoriously smart. the guardians have one of the sharpest front offices in the league. clearly they see something in Nakken that makes them very confident in her. same with kai correa and justin viele and, obviously, donnie ecker going to the rangers
Smart move.
Honest question. What did she even do while she was here?
Any move that Aubrey Huff celebrates is one I’m unhappy about
This sucks. She’s a good coach. The Giants were very progressive under Kapler, and really haven’t been since he left.
She interviewed for Posey’s job. Not surprising she’d try to make inroads with another org if that’s her goal and she doesn’t see a near-term, front-office growth path with the Giants. Same as anyone else with career ambitions. People are reading too much into this by making it some kind of referendum on Posey. Wish her well.
