Cincinnati Reds Tabbed as One of Most Active Teams This Offseason
A panel of MLB Executives and insiders says the Cincinnati Reds will be one of the most active teams this offseason. The Reds need to make some splashes in free agency and need to add through trades, as well. Nick Krall should be busy but it is a good sign that other teams view the Reds as a mover this offseason. That’s good because FanGraphs has the Reds ranked 27th as the offseason begins. 2025 needs to be a playoff season for the Reds so expect this offseason to be a busy one.

I would part with Marte
Reds don’t just need a power hitter, they need a whole need approach at the plate that includes better OBP
Jeff, I think you completely missed the point. What Steve said about Marte being a AAA player is only how you slot in at the beginning of the season. For this team to have any success, they need all of CES,McLain , and Marte to do much better than last year. In addition, we still need that right handed outfield power bat. But, you can’t count on any of them being “the guy“ at the outset of spring training. Each and every player on this team has to prove themselves and win their position, especially with a new manager, there are no freebies. Even Hunter and.Elly have to show something in spring training.
