  1. If there is anything the Sabres have been consistent with over these past few years is wild swings in areas of their game that are best in the league and worst in the league.

  2. This is a stat that kind of confirms to me not to be worried yet. Young team, badly coached for years, new coach, shitty death hand to start the season… We’re just going to get progressively better the longer the season goes on.

  3. Lindy’s comments about Samuelson have stuck with me. When all of us were wondering why the hell he was still in the lineup and finally got benched, Lindy basically said hey I needed some time to observe the guy to try and figure him out.

    I think that’s been the case with a lot of things with much still to be figured out. It seems like some coaches can come in and make an immediate impact and with others it takes time. I think we’ve been so poorly coached for so long that it has taken Lindy this long to get things clicking and will take some more time to get things consistent.
