ESPN.com lists the Hawks at 26 in their NBA “Big 3” rankings. Seems they forgot someone. 🤔

  1. I kind of agree with their logic TBH, if Trae isn’t going to extend in the offseason we would be complete idiots not to trade him

  2. I mean, it’s true.

I love Trae, the team is better with Trae and I think he could lead this young core to a title one day. But if he doesn’t intend to resign, I get it.

The only one thing we know for sure is we have an AWESOME young core no matter what, even if he decides to leave.

  3. The media is insanely thirsty to get Trae literally anywhere but Atlanta. The second he steps out the door, the glazing is going to be insane

  4. It’s so funny how the national media goes from “will the Hawks trade Trae Young?” to “will Trae Young extend in Atlanta?”. It’s a constant cycle of anti-Trae content.

There’s not going to be much maneuverability for UFAs anymore so it’s really in Trae’s best interest to stay in Atlanta unless he’s dying to leave.

  5. They just want him in NY or LA so they can get people to click their stupid links more

  6. We are REALLY stretching the definition of a “big 3” here. It started with guys like Paul Pierce, KG, and Ray Allen. Then it was Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. Now we are using the team to refer to Risacher, JJ, and DD?

  7. This is absolutely how the front office should be looking at the their “big 3”. Our focus should be on maximizing our potential 2-3 years from now, not today with Trae.

  8. Trae would just be another player on another team. In Atlanta, he gets to be the star. I feel like he stays because of that
