  1. Damn near snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. I don’t even know if I can be excited about this one.

Congrats to Binny on 151 though.

  2. Shoutout Binner, ice cold.

Watching this team play offense is like watching paint dry. Dvorsky’s arrival at 2c is much anticipated. Hopefully Snuggy can add some scoring as well, assuming he signs.

  3. Can’t even be that excited for Binnington tying Liut’s record. I know this team isn’t elite but Bannister will never lead this team to a cup, let alone a playoff appearance.

  4. I know everyone was pissed about the end of regulation there, trust me I was fuming. HOWEVER! We now have 4 pts against the sharks in 2 games and that is much better than last year. Sharks have been our kryptonite the last couple years but 2 pts is 2 pts.

Also Jake Neighbours is our savior, that GW shootout goal was so cold.

  5. 3 Stars of the Game:

    ⭐ – Binner

    ⭐⭐ – Neighbors

    ⭐⭐⭐ – Wenberg

It’s been far too long since I’ve actually watched the boys win and gotten to post these, and Binner just had to make it dramatic tonight to even it up with Liut, didn’t he?

Mostly good game for them, but just couldn’t seem to get it in the net.

I’ll leave everyone with this question:

Are the Sharks the Blues’ version of the Cubs?

  6. Binnington’s equipment will soon be displayed behind glass at Enterprise Center as it should.

  7. The Sharks scoring with 11 seconds left after the Blues score 11 seconds in is such a Blues move.

  8. Bring Monty home Doug.  Please.  I know we’re not cup contenders but bannister is not good

  9. We beat one of the worst teams in the league on the second night of a back to back in a shootout after giving up a goal with under 10 seconds left. Couldn’t clear the puck in the last 4 minutes and choked away almost 3 minutes of empty net time. Binnington bailed out the entire team. Look out NHL we’re gonna turn it around now after such a hard fought victory. Let’s party!

  10. We dodge a bullet for now. A win is a win but man shouldn’t have gone into OT 🤦🏻‍♂️

  11. I’m glad we won but Bannister still needs to be fired. Again he mismanaged the roster late in the game, this time leaving that line on the ice for over 2:30 when there were multiple whistles where they could have changed lines.

  12. We really really shouldn’t have been that close to the Sharks, but regardless

    That’s my fucking goalie let’s go 🔥🔥🔥🔥

  13. Successfully avoided membership in the “lose to San Jose” club this season 😎
Edit: oops, for now. Didn’t realize we have one more game to go.

  14. After being on the brink of going nuclear I’m gonna try to be objective here.

    1. The Blues DOMINATED this game until the last ten minutes. Askarov played an incredible game and that’s gonna happen in hockey.

    2. The first line was buzzing all night. Thomas still isn’t back up to full speed but once he is they’re gonna start scoring.

    3. That’s now a handful of very strong consecutive efforts. Tonight they got rewarded despite their best efforts to blow it. If this level of play continues they’re gonna win more games than they lose.

  15. Small prospect recap tonight, tons of guys in action tomorrow, including Jimmy Snuggs.

    – **Theo Lindstein** worked 11:44 and was a +1 in Brynas’ 6-1 stroll. Incredibly, the promoted club are now within one point of 1st place, with the league about 40% through the regular season. Brynas are already 10 points clear of the not-making-the-playoffs zone. Wild.

    – **Otto Stenberg** played about 11 1/2 minutes with a -1 as Malmo fell 5-2. They are down there third from bottom, but thankfully are still 11 points clear of the two relegation slots. From an outsider’s view, the lineup management of this team seems very odd. Just mathematically looking at minutes, it seems like this coach’s constant line shuffling puts us to shame. He’s all over the place. And they were third to last last season, too. Same coach, missed the playoffs two straight season going on three. Weird situation.

    – **Juraj Pekarcik** extended his point streak to six games with an assist, but was a -1 as Moncton blew a three-goal lead to lose 6-3. Moncton’s division lead was shaved to three points.

  16. What an ugly, ugly win in a lay up of a situation. Did everything they could to keep San Jose in the game and try to hand it to them. Team still can’t close out games, what’s that like 10 times they’ve given one up late in the third?

  17. Hockey gods are just making sure Binnington is worthy. Once he hits that #152 it’s smooth sailing. I’ve seen the future trust me

  18. Jordan fucking Binnington. He deserves every little bit of this milestone he’s accomplished. The best of the best.
