Given what he actually did to help grow the league (his instrumental restructuring of 2004 TV deals and leading expansion runs for Jags, Panthers, and Texans)…it’s stupid that he’s getting punished for whatever reason.
His fall from grace has been rapid. Even his own fan base has more or less turned in him, and rightfully so.

I mean he did help facilitate the ending of the league lockout and help establish the greatest sports dynasty. Owners do play a part into that. See the catastrophes of the Jets and Bears for example. He should get in for his impact, but it’s not the end of the world. It would just be unfortunate if he got in after he passed.
