  1. If they can get Kim cheaper , then maybe get bregman and a 1st/DH I’d be ok with that. However if they don’t get anyone to help get closer to dodgers they will watch their attendance decline more.

  3. Detroit Tigers had one of the lowest payrolls in MLB and made the playoffs – it is not what you spend but how you spend. Giants can cut payroll and field a better team but it will take shrewd trades, good drafting and development, and a little luck.

  4. Stay away from big contracts like Adames,Bregman,Kim they won't age well. Just fill out your lineup with short term reasonable priced free agents and try to trade for some cost controlled players while focusing in on your minor league system.
