People move on, it happens. Maybe there was no immediate path to a higher position in SF for her and she was ready for a change. Nakken leaving is the least of the Giants’ problems right now.
My sister was fortunate enough to play softball for a few years alongside Alyssa and we are all so happy for her. Even back then she was different and everyone knew it. Hope she keeps having success!

Getting promoted, i heard
I like her a lot but we don’t have a concrete idea what she contributed, she’s left over from when Gabe hired 13 coaches or whatever it was. We like the idea of her. This is a promotion, and she’s going to learn the skills she needs to stick around. Sure she could have been a 1B coach for a few years, but a track towards GM is huge.
